Woke Mob & Cancel Culture—Nothing New Under the Sun?

The religion of wokeness and the woke mob—its sword, vehicle, or instrument of destruction—are on the rise around the world and across America. However, the woke mob and cancel culture are neither a recent development nor a contemporary invention of humanity. There is nothing new under the sun and this lawlessness has been at work throughout history. By examining Scripture, we can observe its presence and identify the demonic fingerprints of the woke mob—it’s motives, means, and manners.

We recently published several articles exposing the increasing scope and intensity of both the “cancel” culture and the wicked efforts of those bent on inciting the woke mob to target Christians—including Paul Braterman and Bill Maher.

However, while both the frequency and ferocity of the woke mob are rapidly increasing (and will continue to do so), it is important to realize that this impetuous cancel culture is nothing new—it has always existed and actively strived against the truth of God and His people.

As the wise King Solomon quipped, “[T]here is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Satan uses the same strategies and tactics to manipulate people to his advantage in his rebellion against God—including the “woke” mob.

The re-emergence of these anti-Christian woke mobs in America should neither surprise nor unsettle us, for “that which has been [and oh how the woke mob has been] is what will be, that which is done is what will be done” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

We can draw comfort and courage from Scripture by recognizing that we face nothing today that was not common to those who have walked in our same shoes down the same “narrow way” (Matthew 7:13-14) In the past—including the Apostles.

Furthermore, the true demonic nature of this woke mob becomes quickly and abundantly obvious when we examine its repeated manifestations in Scripture.

So, with all that said, let’s begin by first examining ten biblical examples of the absurd and grotesque woke mob at work and then identifying the (1) motives, (2) means, and (3) manner of the woke mob.

Let’s get into this… I think you will find it eye-opening!

10 Biblical Examples of the Woke Mob—Nothing New Under the Sun

As we noted above, the woke mob is not some recent invention of humanity. There is nothing new under the sun.

Rather, it is a tried and true—highly effective—spiritual tactic employed by Satan through his earthly ministers (who, like Lucifer, transform themselves into false ministers of righteousness) in order to accomplish his rebellious aims.

Obviously, the mob today has far more tools—like social media—at its disposal. However, the tactic remains essentially the same.

The Woke Mob Today: Braterman Attacks Christianity as Dangerous Conspiracy Theory & Bill Maher's Woke Anti-Christian Rant about Mass Delusion and Evil Virus—A Harbinger of Coming Persecution?

While there are examples throughout scripture (e.g., Daniel being targeted for his prayer and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego’s interaction with the woke mob over refusing to worship the golden image), we want to focus on the New Testament and, more specifically, the early church’s experience with this impulsive group.

Let’s examine ten such examples of the woke mob

Woke Mob #1: Peter & Paul Arrested in Jerusalem

The first example of the woke mob is the arrest of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Jerusalem.

Legacy Food Storage

We read that:

Now as they spoke to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them, being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.” (Acts 4:1-2)

We find that the religious leaders of the day became agitated and overwrought with emotion at these Christians with whom they disagreed.

And what, pray tell, did they do?

We read:

But when they [the Sanhedrin] had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, ‘What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.’ So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.” (Acts 4:15-18)

This is a hallmark of the woke mob—they always employ intimidation and censorship to silence others.

Woke Mob #2: Opposition to Stephen in Jerusalem

The second example of the woke mob is the opposition Stephen faced in Jerusalem.

We read that:

Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.” (Acts 6:9-10)Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.” (Acts 6:9-10)

These men were not able to use logic and reason to debate with Stephen, whom they disagreed with.

Instead, we find that they did three things:

  • They Manipulated Others: “Then they secretly induced men to say, ‘We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God’” (Acts 6:11).
  • They Aroused & Stirred those Susceptible to Agitation—Those Who Were Alarmable and Inflammable: “And they stirred up the people” (Acts 6:12).
  • They Conspired to Smear (Falsely Accuse) their Opponent: “They also set up false witnesses” (Acts 6:13).

Sound like today’s woke mob?

There are always instigators behind the woke mob—individuals who (1) cunningly manipulate others for their own purpose, (2) arouse and stir-up those who are easily excitable, short-fused, impulsive, and volatile, and (3) utilize false witnesses to smear their victims.

Woke Mob #3: Paul & Barnabas Expelled from Antioch

The third example of the woke mob is the Apostle Paul and Barnabas being expelled from Antioch.

We read that:

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.” (Acts 13:45)

We find that the Jewish religious elites were filled with envy at the attention Paul and Antioch were receiving—attention they felt should be directed to them.

And what did they do?

Again, we read:

But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.” (Acts 13:50)

We find that these men instigated the woke mob by stirring up people to persecute their target.

Furthermore, Scripture tells us that they specifically agitated and inflamed three key groups of people:

  • Devout—or Fanatical & Overzealous—People (i.e., Those Who Were Emotional and Easily Excitable)
  • Prominent People (a.k.a. Celebrities)
  •  Chief People (e.g., Political, Scientific, Academic, and Business Leaders)

Woke Mob #4: Paul Attacked in Iconium

The fourth example of the woke mob in Scripture is the Apostle Paul being attacked while preaching in Iconium.

We read that:

But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren.” (Acts 14:2)

Again, we find that the instigators of the woke mob stirred up other groups to persecute their targeted victims:

And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them, they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. And they were preaching the gospel there.” (Acts 14:5-7)

Another hallmark of the woke mob is that the instigators manipulate other groups—those susceptible to agitation. Here, the Jews stirred up Gentiles—they used (manipulated) them for their own benefit.

We see this today in the black community being manipulated (agitated) by predominantly white political organizations and global elites (e.g., George Soros), as well as the LGBTQ community being manipulated (aroused and stirred) by cunning individuals that do not agree with their beliefs behind closed doors.

Satan—and his ministers (the inciters)—always play all sides to accomplish their goals. He controls both sides of our illusionary yin-yang (“us versus them”) world. It is the fuel that feeds the engine of the woke mob… always keeping it burning hot.

Finally, we see that “their rulers” were also involved in the mob—consenting and condoning it by way of their governmental power. The inciters of the woke mob will always seek to gain the support and power of those with official legal power to back them.

Woke Mob #5: Apostle Paul Stoned in Derbe

The fifth biblical example of the woke mob is found when the Apostle Paul was stoned in Derbe.

We read that:

Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.” (Acts 14:19)

Again, we find these Jewish opponents inciting the multitudes (a.k.a. the mob) to violently attack their targeted victim.

Even more interesting is that these Jews were the same ones we saw in examples three and four.

In other words, they had followed Paul all the way from Antioch and Iconium to Derbe!

Another hallmark of the woke mob is that the instigators behind it are relentless fanatics, who will stalk their victims wherever they go without ceasing—stirring up the mob everywhere along the way.

Woke Mob #6: Paul & Silas Imprisoned in Philippi

Our sixth example of the age-old woke mob is the imprisonment of the Apostle Paul and Silas in Philippi.

We read that:

Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling… But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.” (Acts 16:16, 19)

Here, we notice that the instigators of the woke mob are not exclusively motivated by ideological reasons but can also be driven by either a perceived threat to their status (e.g., wealth, power and/or influence) or a desire to further improve that status.

In this case, they perceived a threat to their wealth and livelihood—their golden-ticket to financial gain (the fortune-telling slave girl) had been taken away.

And what did they do?

We read:

And they brought them to the magistrates, and said, ‘These men, being Jews, exceedingly trouble our city; and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe.’ Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods.” (Acts 16:20-22)

Again, they (1) stirred up the mob and (2) manipulated the “chief men” (or political leaders).

As a result of inciting a hysterical mob and manipulating the magistrates through false testimony, the political leaders became overwrought with emotion (i.e., they dramatically “tore off their clothes”) and impulsively used their legal power to persecute the mob’s targeted victims.

Woke Mob #7: Paul Targeted for Cancellation in Thessalonica

The seventh example of the woke mob is found when the Apostle Paul is targeted for “cancellation” in Thessalonica.

We find that Paul began preaching in the local synagogue and many of the Jews were coming to the faith.

However, we read that:

But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason…” (Acts 17:5)

Again, we find that certain Jews, who opposed Paul’s beliefs, instigated the woke mob. Satan’s ministers are one trick ponies—they always have, are, and will revert to their woke mob tactics.

Furthermore, they utilized “evil men” in the community to help organize and incite the woke mob.

Sound like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter organizers being utilized to organize and incite the woke mob in our local communities?

It should—there’s nothing new under the sun.

And the impetuous, hot-blooded mob was able to set the entire city in an uproar—even violently attacking victims in their home.

Again, sound familiar… like the riots and social unrest we’ve experienced across our country? Like today’s instigators doxing people in order to incite the woke mob to target them at their home and place of work?

We also read:

…they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, ‘These who have turned the world upside down have come here too. Jason has harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king—Jesus.’ And they troubled the crowd and the rulers of the city when they heard these things.” (Acts 17:6-8)

Another hallmark of the woke mob is that it will seek to “cancel” opponents by intimidating anyone even remotely associated with them.

In other words, if we can’t shut you down directly… we’ll target your friends, family, associates, and anyone we feel supports you or is sympathetic to your views.

Here, they once again used false accusations and sensational (dramatic) rhetoric to stir-up the “chief men” of the city—seeking to intimidate and persecute those who had “harbored” (a.k.a. aided and abetted) their perceived enemy.

Woke Mob #8: Apostle Paul in Berea

When Paul ministered in Berea, we find the eighth example of the good old woke mob.

We read that:

But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also and stirred up the crowds.” (Acts 17:13)

Once again, the woke mob followed the Apostle Paul all the way from Thessalonica (woke mob #7) to Berea, where they once again stirred up the crowds with their fiery and intolerant rhetoric.

Woke Mob #9: Paul Targeted in Ephesus

In our ninth example of the woke mob, we once again find financial motivations stirring up the mob against Paul in Ephesus.

We read that:

But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude…” (Acts 19:9)

Thus, we find instigators once again using false accusations and fervid rhetoric to fire up the woke mob—specifically a silversmith named Demetrius.

But why would this man incite a riot by the woke mob?

We read that:

For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: ‘Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade. Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.” (Acts 29:24-27)

Demetrius did so because he perceived Paul as a threat to his financial wellbeing.

As such, he sought to manipulate his fellow craftsmen into inciting the woke mob through irrational and fallacious accusations—both financial and spiritual.

Did it work?

Of course it did—the woke mob is one of Satan’s most effective tactics of all time… and why he uses it over and over and over again!

We read that:

Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, ‘Great is Diana of the Ephesians!’ So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accordSome therefore cried one thing and some another, for the assembly was confused, and most of them did not know why they had come together… But when they found out that he was a Jew, all with one voice cried out for about two hours, ‘Great is Diana of the Ephesians!’” (Acts 19:28-29, 32, 34)

These high-stung, short-fused folks were easily manipulated—as so many always are. They became unduly offended, full of wrath, and overly dramatic—creating chaos and confusion through the whole city.

And the mob mentality kicked in, with more and more hysterical folks joining in—even though most didn’t even really know why they were rioting!

Remember, this woke mob was instigated for financial reasons… but, in the end, they unwittingly went bananas for religious reasons—because Paul was a “Jew”.

As we exposed in our articles regarding Braterman and Maher, we are seeing this today in America. The instigators are manipulating and stirring-up the woke mob towards Christians.

However, like these Ephesians, the vast majority of today’s mob participants don’t even know why they’re “rioting”—they just fall for the emotional “oh, they’re Christian” group-think sentiment. They never question what’s going on behind the scenes—why the instigators are really inciting the mob.

There are always hidden reasons—ones that rarely align with or benefit the easily aroused and stirred woke mobsters. They are just pawns being moved on a hidden chess board; puppets being manipulated by puppet masters hiding above them in the shadows—and, ultimately, by the cunning schemes of Satan himself.

There is nothing new under the sun.

Woke Mob #10: Paul Arrested in the Temple

The final example of the woke mob we’re going to look at is the arrest of Paul in the Temple.

We find that Paul had returned to Jerusalem and read:

Now when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd and laid hands on him, crying out, ‘Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, the law, and this place; and furthermore he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.’” (Acts 21:27)

Once again, we find a large woke mob being stirred up with sensational false accusations.

We then read:

And all the city was disturbed; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut. Now as they were seeking to kill him, news came to the commander of the garrison that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.” (Acts 21:30-31)

Again, the entire city was riled up and had succumb to the fanatical and intolerant mob mentality, thanks to the stirring of the Jews from Asia.

We then read:

Then the commander came near and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and he asked who he was and what he had done. And some among the multitude cried one thing and some another.” (Acts 21:33-34)

Again, we see the chaos and confusion that characterizes the woke mob—everybody is offended by something different and seeking a different resolution. It’s the mob mentality—people are inflamed but don’t even necessarily understand or agree on why… they just want to be outraged regardless of whether it’s rational and reasonable or not.

This is emphasized by the fact that commander of the Roman garrison in Jerusalem couldn’t even figure out what it was the now out of control and violent mob wanted:

So when he could not ascertain the truth because of the tumult, he commanded him to be taken into the barracks. When he reached the stairs, he had to be carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the mob. For the multitude of the people followed after, crying out, ‘Away with him!’” (Acts 21:34-36)

In hopes of calming the woke mob, the commander allows Paul to address them:

And they listened to him until this word, and then they raised their voices and said, ‘Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he is not fit to live!’ Then, as they cried out and tore off their clothes and threw dust into the air.” (Acts 22:22-23)

This all serves to highlight the neurotic (viz., Paul wasn’t fit to even live over literally nothing), as well as melodramatic and thespian (e.g., the tearing off of clothes and throwing of dust in the air), nature of the woke mob.

Understanding the Motives, Means, and Manner of the Woke Mob

An analysis of these woke mob examples (and they represent merely a small sampling from God’s Word) reveals some important takeaways which we can apply to our current world.

Specifically, they provide some critical insights into the motives of the woke mob, the means of the woke mob, and the manner of the woke mob…

MOTIVES of the Woke Mob (The Mainspring)

While there are a limitless number of specific reasons for people to incite or participate in the woke mob, I would argue (and I believe Scripture supports) that they generally fall into two broad categories:

  • To Gain or Maintain Power, Control & Wealth
  • To Wage Spiritual Rebellion (Debased Minds Rejecting the Truth of Sin & God’s Absolute Law)

In other words, there are worldly motives and spiritual motives… though, at the end of the day, they all can be traced back to one’s theology—meaning, what say you about Christ?

The woke mob does not want to acknowledge sin or live under the parameters of an absolute moral standard—they want to “do as thou wilt.”

Anything—and I mean anything—that causes a light of truth to be cast into their darkness is viewed as a threat that must be decisively countered by the woke mob.

It’s the same rebellious spirit—one that embraces Satan’s false Gnostic lie—that has existed since the Fall in the Garden… there is nothing new under the sun.

MEANS of the Woke Mob (Methods or Modes)

While there are also an infinite number of ways the woke mob carries out its war on others, I would argue that the primary means (a.k.a. methods or modes) can be boiled down to…

  • Conspire (Cunning Schemes in Secret)
  • Manipulate (Induce) Others Who Are Susceptible to Seduction & Deception
  • Stir Up Impulsive & Irrational Fervor (Incite)
  • Falsely Accuse (Seek to Discredit by False Witness)
  • Intimidate (Threaten, Public Shaming/Humiliation & Cancellation/Persecution)
  • Censor Those Who Refuse to Bow to the Religion of Wokeness

These are the satanic fingerprints of the woke mob that can be found at the scene of the crime whenever one performs a post-mortem forensic investigation.

MANNER of the Woke Mob (Mood)

Finally, there are some common mannerisms or characteristics that permeate the woke mob. While this is by no means a comprehensive list, here are some of the big ones that embody the mood of the woke mob… they are:

  • Envious
  • Angry, Volatile, Fiery & Intolerant
  • Impetuous & Irrational (Blinded to Reason & Logic)
  • Impatient, Hasty & Rash
  • Emotional, Hot-Headed & Impulsive
  • Confused, Chaotic & Hypocritical
  • Dramatic, Fanatical, & Hysterical
  • Sensitive, Peevish & Easily Offended (Personalize Everything)
  • Temperamental, Moody, Excitable & Short-Fused
  • Neurotic, Reckless & Uncontrolled’
  • Easily Aroused & Stirred—Susceptible to Agitation (i.e., Alarmable & Inflammable)
  • Arrogant, Prideful & Self-Righteous (Having Great Hubris)
  • Susceptible to Group Think & Influenceable
  • Consumed & Overzealous—Can’t Let It Go
  • Driven by Self-Validation (Must Win or They Are a Failure)

In a lot of ways, the characteristics of the woke mob reflect the Jezebel spirit we discussed in our article Jezebel Spirit in America—Harbinger of Last Days Judgment.

Furthermore, these mannerisms that reflect the nature of the woke mob directly correspond to the works (fruits) of the flesh which the Apostle Paul spoke of:

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like… Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” (Galatians 5:19-21, 26)

These woke modes stand in stark contrast to—are diametrically opposed to—the fruit of the Spirit that Christians are called upon by Christ to manifest in their lives:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23)

Finally, it is worth pointing out that Paul also declared:

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!” (Galatians 5:13-15)

Now, Paul was specifically speaking to Christians and the liberty in Christ we enjoy through the grace of God. His warning was an exhortation to healthy unity and Christlike fellowship within the body of Christ.

However, I think his warning regarding the consequence of attacking others—the modus operandi of the woke mob—can and should be more broadly applied to society as a whole. It represents the “live by the sword, die by the sword” axiom declared by Scripture.

This reveals the inconvenient truth regarding intersectionality, a woke social justice theory that most mob participants don’t understand or even recognize that they’re practicing. It is the never-ending rabbit hole of the religion of wokeness.

By its very nature, intersectionality establishes a spiritual Ponzi scheme—one in which there always needs to be a new oppressor, a new villain for the mob to target. Eventually, those participating in the mob will inevitably and inescapably become the target of the mob. Those who play with fire will eventually get burned.

It is also interesting to note that God frequently carries out judgment against His enemies by causing them to turn their swords on themselves.

Conclusion

As we have seen, the woke mob is not some contemporary invention of humanity. Rather, it has been around since time immemorial—with clearly identifiable motives, means, and manners.

However, one can also perceive that it appears to rise in frequency and intensity during critical periods in God’s prophetic timetable—such as at the founding of the Church during the period of the Roman Empire (one of the 7 antichrist kingdoms of Satan identified in Scripture).

While it is outside the scope of this article, we find ourselves on the threshold of one of these pivotal periods—the seven-year tribulation period (a.k.a. Daniel’s 70th Week and the time of Jacob’s trouble).

As such, it should not be surprising that we are seeing a rapid increase in both the frequency and intensity of the woke mob—in conjunction with the resurgence of Mystery Babylon (the false Babylonian religious system of Satan) and the soon rebirth of the “revived” Roman Empire (representing the “head” or kingdom that was mortally wounded by the sword—the fall of Rome—that will be resurrected in the last days).

However, the good news is that Scripture tells us that the power of the woke mob is currently being restrained:

And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He [the Holy Spirit] who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way [the Rapture]. And then the lawless one [the Antichrist] will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming [at the end of the Tribulation].” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8)

Yes, the lawlessness of the woke mob is at work—it always has been.

But it is being restrained by the Holy Spirit through the Church (through the believers He indwells).

The bad news is that this Restrainer is about to be removed (“taken out of the way”) when Christ raptures His bride (Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)—snatching believers out of this world prior to the pouring out of God’s wrath and judgment on a wicked world (the Tribulation).

If you think the woke mob is bad today… you haven’t seen anything.

Once all restraint is removed, it will unleash hell on earth for all who refuse to bow to the mob and worship the beast. Those left behind won’t be worried about being “cancelled” on social media or loosing their jobs… they will be facing the highest form of persecution—the “cancelation” of their lives.

Do not be deceived. We are not headed for a brave new world. We are not on the verge of some great leap in the evolution of mankind. There is no glorious utopian world or golden age on our collective horizon.

We are in the final momentsthis is how it ends for a tragically deceived world.

How do you avoid the apocalyptic Tribulation?

How do you escape the coming persecution and global genocide of believers?

How do you participate in the Rapture… how do you get onboard Titus 213 Airlines Flight #777?

You punch your ticket to board the escape flight out of here by placing your faith in Christ and receiving eternal life today!

Today is your day of salvation—a salvation that comes but one way: by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:4-9)

There is only one true path to salvation—belief in the atoning work (shed blood) of Christ.

We are all sinners and the wages of sin are death. The only question is whose death will pay your sin debt: Your death (eternal damnation) or Christ’s death (eternal life).

Choose wisely my friends!
