The Destroyer Is Coming—Are You Really Prepared to Face Him?

Most would concede that we appear to be plunging towards an apocalyptic period on earth—the product of a convergence of events that have been accelerating for decades… if not centuries. Some even believe that they are prepared to face it—equipped with the necessary preps to survive it… even positioned to thrive in it. Are they (you) really prepared for all that is coming, including the appearance of the Destroyerthe destroying angel, the angel of the abyss, the minister of death, and author of havoc on earth?

Sadly, I would suggest that those who believe they are prepared for it have literally no clue what they are talking about.

You can hide in the woods—as far off-grid as possible. You can hide in a bunker—buried as deeply as you can dig. You can stockpile all the beans, bullets, and bandages that money can buy. Rest assured, none of it will protect you from what is coming.

Now, this article is not intended to dismiss or minimize the need for appropriate physical preparation—prepping can be an entirely prudent endeavor… one that we promote and encourage on our site (see our article 10 Reasons It’s Completely Biblical for a Christian to Be a Prepper).

Rather, it is merely a sincere attempt to caution those who may be injudiciously placing their faith in those preps that—to their own peril—they are only preparing for half the battle they’ll face in the coming Tribulation.

What’s coming to a world near you is an interdimensional encounter of the worst kind, including the arrival of the Destroyerthe commanding general of Satan’s special forces team of the worst of the worst fallen angels!

We are continuously facing unexpected emergencies and disasters that we should certainly do our best to be prepared for—and this world is only going to get worse.

However, if you are placing your confidence in some arbitrary level of physical preparation to survive (or even thrive) in the coming apocalyptic period that is bearing down on us like a runaway freight train… you are grossly misunderstanding the intrinsic threat you will face.

Before you grievously underestimate the true nature of the coming apocalypse, I encourage you to read this article and think long and hard about whether it is wise to be so cavalier and even gung-ho about facing it.

Are you really prepared to face the Destroyer?

The Angels of the Abyss—Satan’s Special Forces

In Revelation chapter nine, the Apostle John provides us with a glimpse of an event that will transpire during the coming seven-year tribulation period—the release of Satan’s special forces to terrorize mankind.

This is the first of the three great woes pronounced by God on the world—occurring at the start of the second half of the seven-year tribulation period (also referred to as the Great Tribulation).

We read:

“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star [angel] fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit” (Revelation 9:1).

First, this is a reference to Satan being cast from out of heaven and thrown down to earth, as foretold by Christ when he said, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven” (Luke 10:18).

Legacy Food Storage

Of this event, John later writes: “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time” (Revelation 12:12).

Second, God will give him the key (authority) to open the bottomless pit (abyss) and release his special forces—the worst of the worst when it comes to the angles that fell with Satan, with the exception of those God placed in everlasting chains until the final judgement for their abominable intrusion into humanity in the days before the Flood (cf. 2 Peter 2:4-8; Jude 6-7; Genesis 6:1-4)… never to be released into the world again.

John continues, writing:

“And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power” (Revelation 9:2-3).

Locust swarms have been feared throughout human history for the death and misery they bring upon man as they destroy food crops—advancing as an unstoppable, relentless, insatiable cloud of destruction wherever they go.

Here we learn that there is coming a day when dark clouds of smoke will billow up from the abyss and a hoard of demonic locusts will pour out from its mouth—wielding great power and consumed with satanic rage.

The sky will be darkened as the entire earth is consumed in a thick cloud smoke—as though the greatest of supervolcanoes has erupted on a cataclysmic scale.

The Apostle John then writes:

“And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads” (Revelation 9:4).

These locusts are similar in nature to earthly locust; however, they aren’t coming to destroy crops. Rather, these spiritual entities are coming to target human beings.

John continues, noting:

“And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them” (Revelation 9:5-6).

These satanic special forces will torment people—with pain and misery akin to that of scorpion stings. In fact, it will be so bad that people will desperately try to kill themselves to end their suffering quickly. However, God declares that they will be supernaturally prevented from dying.

You may be asking, why on earth would God do this?

He is doing it out of love and grace. It represents one last attempt to reach unrepented man with the gospel.

He is providing humanity with an unadulterated but small taste of what hell itself will be like—of the true nature of eternal damnation. However, in mercy, He prevents them from dying and sealing their fate—providing them with a few more precious moments to repent and trust in Christ.

He is literally pulling out all the stops to try to get their attention in order to reveal the most fundamental of options that lie before them: (a) choose Christ and receive eternal life or (b) reject Christ and receive a full dose of that which you are experiencing now… for all of eternity.

While the nature of these demonic warriors will be akin to locusts, John provides a physical description of them:

“And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months” (Revelation 9:7-10).

John reveals that these demonic beasts will sting and torment humanity for five months.

Why five months?

The number five symbolized God’s plan, grace, and presence in the Bible. Again, as horrible as this will be for those living through it, it represents God reaching out to them yet one more time with the offer of eternal salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

Understand, there will be no way to avoid or escape them—regardless of one’s wealth, position, or degree of physical preps. Angels possess superior intelligence, are immortal (cannot be killed), and possess both the ability to both travel anywhere at rapid speeds and to pass through (penetrate) any physical matter (defenses).

There will be no place to run and no place to hide from this swarming cloud of sadistic locusts.

Finally, John reveals that these satanic special forces have a leader—a commander:

“And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon” (Revelation 9:11).

Remember, this event happens at the midpoint of the tribulation period—the point at which Satan will be focused on possessing the Antichrist.

As a created angel himself, Satan does not have the divine attributes of God—meaning he is not omnipresent. If he is possessing the Antichrist, he cannot be physically leading his special forces—he delegates that responsibility to his second in command.

We will focus the remainder of this article on this demonic king (or prince)—Satan’s commanding general.

If you think you stand a chance against this fallen angelic warrior, I highly encourage you to finish reading this article…

The Apocalypse—Who Is the Destroyer of Revelation?

Who is the Destroyer spoken of by John in the book of Revelation—this king (or princely general) over Satan’s special forces?

John refers to him as the “angel of the abyss” and provides the two formal names by which this fallen angel is known by: Abaddon (Hebrew) or Apollyon (Greek).

The Hebrew name Abaddon means the Destroyer or the Destroying Angel—the angelic prince of the abyss… minister of death and author of havoc on earth.

In fact, the oldest book of the Bible—Job—refers to Abaddon as the place of destruction (cf. Job 28:22), as well as Psalms (cf. Psalm 88:11). Here in Revelation, Scripture is referring to the angelic prince who presides over this hellish place—similar to the worldly concept of the reaper.

The Greek name Apollyon means the Destroying One—from the root apóllymi, meaning to cause to perish or be ruined.

In the book of Daniel, we read that Daniel was visited by an angel, which he described as figure “clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude” (Daniel 10:4).

This angel tells Daniel that he was delayed for twenty days by the “prince of the kingdom of Persia” (Daniel 10:13), until he was assisted by the Archangel Michael.

That provides us with a glimpse into just how powerful Satan’s princes are—and the Destroyer seems to be at the top of the satanic command structure!

In order to fully grasp the true nature and demonic power of this Destroying Angel, let’s explore some of the other places in Scripture where we see the Minister of Death referred to directly, as well as indirectly…

The Destroyer in Egypt: Passover Plagueof Death

The first example of the Destroyer’s past activity on earth that we are told about is found in the events related to the Hebrew exodus from Egypt—namely, the tenth and final plague of Passover.

We read that:

“Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, ‘Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb. And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning’” (Exodus 12:21-22).

Why does Moses tell God’s people to do this?

God, speaking through Moses, tells us why:

“For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you” (Exodus 12:23).

God warns His people that He is sending the Angel of the Abyss to carry out His judgement—the tenth and final plague against the Pharaoh of Egypt.

We then read the result:

“And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock. So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.” (Exodus 12:29-30).

The Lord released the Destroyer—as His instrument of judgment—to kill every firstborn in the land of Egypt.

Now, it is important to put this into some context… how many people are we talking here?

Estimates of the population of Egypt place it at around two million in 1800 BC (the height of the Middle Kingdom) and close to 2.9 to 3.5 million by 1250 BC (the New Kingdom and reign of Ramesses II)—though some have placed it at closer to 4-5 million (e.g., Bruce Trigger).

The Exodus occurred around 1420 BC, thus a conservative estimate of the population at that time would place it around 2.75 million people.

Conservatively, the average family size was likely around six (i.e., four children), thus there were roughly 458,000 Egyptian families at the time of the Exodus.

This means that we can reasonably deduce that roughly 450,000 firstborn children were killed.

And this is a very conservative number. It is highly likely the population significantly exceeded the 2.75 million we have used for illustration purposes.

Legacy Food Storage

As shown below, reasonable estimates range from 350 to 700 thousand firstborn Egyptian children at the time of the Exodus—producing an average of 500,000:

Estimates on the number of firstborn in Egypt at the time of the Exodus

For more on the rationale for these estimates, you can read Estimating Population in Ancient Egypt by Dr. Steven Snape (Reader in Egyptian Archaelology, University of Liverpool).

None the less, the Prince of the Abyss—at the very least—demonstrated the capable to identify and kill roughly 450,000 firstborns across all of Egypt.

And he did this in less than one night—for we read that Pharaoh and the Egyptians woke up during the night to find their children dead (cf. Exodus 12:30)… and that doesn’t even factor in all the firstborn animals that were also slayed!

One last thought…

This estimate only considers the firstborn of the most recent generation—meaning, children.

However, God declares that all living firstborns were killed… meaning the number was much, much higher!

After all, there was a multitude of adults (fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, etc.) that were themselves also firstborns of their generation!

(This also speaks to the heightened complexity of identifying all firstborns by the Minister of Death.)

The Destroying Angel—God’s Instrument of Judgment in Another Plague

We then see the Destroyer appear again in Scripture—carrying out God’s judgment against King David in Israel through another plague.

In this event, we find the anger of God raised against David for counting the people—conducting a census.

Interestingly, God records very little about David’s other sins (e.g., his adultery with Bathsheba) in Scripture but He records this one in great detail—it angered Him greatly!

As a result of David’s sin, we read:

“So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel from the morning till the appointed time. From Dan to Beersheba seventy thousand men of the people died. And when the angel stretched out His hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord relented from the destruction, and said to the angel who was destroying the people, ‘It is enough; now restrain your hand.’ And the angel of the Lord was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite” (2 Samuel 24:15-16).

Here, we see that, once again, the Lord used the Destroying Angel as an instrument of His judgment—slaying 70,000 Hebrew men.

We then read:

“Then David spoke to the Lord when he saw the angel who was striking the people, and said, ‘Surely I have sinned, and I have done wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray, be against me and against my father’s house’” (2 Samuel 24:17).

David then sought mercy from the Lord:

“And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel” (2 Samuel 24:25).

Thus, we see that after slaying 70,000 people, the Destroyer was restrained by God.

It is important to emphasize that this fallen angel only has the freedom and authority to do that which God permits him to do. Though insanely powerful, the Destroying Angel is not omnipotent—he is always subject to and restrained by the sovereign Lord.

On a side note, we should ask ourselves: Why was God so angered about regarding David’s act?

In essence, King David was numbering the people as though they were his possession (cattle)—not God’s.

David’s understanding of his position under God and his divine privilege and responsibility as king—to shepherd God’s possession—had been warped into a misguided (prideful) notion that the people were his possession—his property.

We are seeing a similar spirit in our world today—a demonic spirit that will ultimately manifest itself through the Antichrist during the tribulation with his mark system.

The new world order agenda arrogantly views humanity as the property of the elites—cattle to be branded and herded together for their purpose—rather than as God’s possession. They are usurping His sovereignty and will—setting themselves up as little gods.

Rest assured, this is surely angering God greatly again. And, as Revelation declares, we will see the Destroyer back in action as His instrument to deliver a plague of judgment upon the whole world—for which Egypt is a biblical type.

The Apostle Paul Speaks of the Angel of the Abyss

We also find the Apostle Paul referencing the work of the Destroyer. In his first letter to the church at Corinth, Paul states that the sins of the Israelites in the wilderness (and God’s judgments of them) serve as an example to us today:

“Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, ‘The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.’ Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer” (1 Corinthians 10:6-10).

Part of what Paul is referring to appears to be the events of Numbers 11, which occurred between their exodus from Egypt and arrival at the border of the promised land—a period of time during which some people became dissatisfied with the manna God was providing and craved meat.

For their complaining and lack of faith and gratitude, God gave them what they wanted (the lust of their flesh) but also struck them with a plague:

“But while the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was aroused against the people, and the Lord struck the people with a very great plague. So he called the name of that place Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people who had yielded to craving” (Numbers 11:33-34).

Here again, not long after the plagues against Egypt, we see that God again utilized the Destroying Angel to carry out His judgment against those Israelites who had lusted after the flesh—a plague of death.

It is important to note the divine connection between the work of the Destroyer—as well as other fallen angelic beings—and the term plague (Gk. plégé, plague or affliction). We see this repeatedly established throughout Scripture—including the plagues on Egypt, the plague in the wilderness, and the three plagues described in Revelation (cf. 9:18, 20).

The Destroyer and the Assyrians—Death Comes in the Night

Finally, let’s examine another passage of Scripture that—while it does not specifically refer to the Destroyer—seems to perfectly fit his modus operandi.

In Isaiah 37, we find that the army of Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, whose exploits include his destruction of the city of Babylon in 689 BC and his renovation and expansion of the last great Assyrian capital, Nineveh, is sweeping through Israel… with one fortified city after another falling (Isaiah 36:1).

Now the Assyrians were among the most brutal, demonic, and bloodthirsty conquerors found anywhere in human history—one of the seven global empires (kingdoms) described by the Apostle John in Revelation (cf. 13 & 17), pictured as the seven heads of the beast.

Assyria—One of the Seven World Kingdoms (Empires) in God’s panoramic landscape of human history

Sennacherib’s army eventually reaches Jerusalem itself, camping just outside the walls of the city. He then has a threatening communication sent to King Hezekiah, declaring to him that, if he surrenders without a fight, his people would be spared and assimilated into the Assyrian kingdom (as was their custom). However, if they attempted to resist, no flesh would be spared, and they would be destroyed—brutally tortured without mercy (as was also the custom of the savagely brutal Assyrians).

In fact, the Assyrians are known as the “Lords of Torture,” having mastered the use of brutality as a weapon of psychological warfare—including the use of impalement, flaying, beheading, removal of eyes, amputation, and the burning of children alive.

Peter Preskar writes:

The Assyrian army was a professional army, and it was well organized. So, their cruelty and brutality were systematic. The Assyrian kings used brutality as a weapon. The psychological warfare worked. The news of extreme terror spread fast. The entire cities surrendered at the mere sight of the approaching Assyrian army. The Assyrian kings bragged about their cruelty. They regarded it as their divine right.”

The Assyrian relief depicting impalement (Image: Wikimedia Commons)

Side note, though they used it for capital punishment, the crucifixion was not invented by the Romans—it came from the Assyrians… a demonic twist on their standard forms of impalements.

Now, with their brutal and terrorizing reputation preceding them, King Hezekiah was gripped with fear. He goes to the Lord in prayer and God responds through His prophet Isaiah, concluding with this promise to King Hezekiah:

“Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: ‘He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city,’ says the Lord. ‘For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake’” (Isaiah 37:33-35).

Isaiah then records:

“Then the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead. So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, returned home, and remained at Nineveh” (Isaiah 37:36-37).

While the Lord does not identify the angel by name in this case, the carrying out of God’s judgment (plague) upon the Assyrian army certainly fits the modus operandi of the Destroyer and the role with which God has used him in the past as His instrument of judgment.

Regardless, it demonstrates the great power of an angel—able to single-handedly kill 185,000 warriors in a single nightwithout even making a sound! (This passage reveals that the army was not only in sight of the Israelites manning the city walls… but within earshot of them as well.)

It speaks to the tremendous power wielded by the leader of Satan’s special forces unit of fallen angels—the Prince of the Abyss!

Again, do not misunderstand this. Even the Destroyer is a created being. God alone is omnipotent and sovereign over all creation—including the angels. He uses Satan and his fallen angels as He desires and in accordance with His will (purpose) for His glory and humanity’s good… frequently as fierce instruments to carry out His judgments.

These fallen angels don’t care who that judgment falls on—their bloodthirsty spirit simply revels in tormenting and killing people… period.

The Destroyer Won’t Be the Only Demonic Agents of Judgment in the Tribulation

As if all of that wasn’t enough, it won’t just be the Destroyer—leading his special forces unit of satanic fallen angels—that those still alive at this point in the Tribulation will have to face.

Immediately following this event, the sixth trumpet judgment (second great woe) will unfold… with the releasing of the four fallen angels previously bound by God at the Euphrates River.

The Apostle John reveals to us that these four satanic emissaries of destruction will lead another group of demonic special forces—200 million angelic horsemen:

“Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.’ So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them” (Revelation 9:13-16).

This group of spiritual beings will kill another third of all of mankind (likely a billion plus people at this point in the apocalypse) through three plagues: fire, smoke, and brimstone.

“…out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm” (Revelation 9:17-19).

Again, physical preps will be meaningless… there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

Sadly, despite God’s final attempt to wake people up and reach out to them with the gospel (viz., the Destroying Angel and the four bound angels—leading their horde of demonic special forces), Scripture records that not only will people not repent and turn to God… but they will actually worship the demons:

“But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries (Gk. pharmakia, the use of drugs) or their sexual immorality or their thefts” (Revelation 9:20-21).

Conclusion

As we’ve seen, the rapidly-approaching apocalyptic tribulation period will be a time of far more than just a global new world order, worldly conflicts, or natural disasters—it will be a period of terrifying supernatural activity.

Satan will be using his demonic agents (including the Antichrist, False Prophet, fallen angels, and demons) to usher in his short-lived kingdom and reign of hell on earth, while God will be pouring out His wrath on a Christ-rejecting world—including the use of the most fearsome fallen angels and their armies of demonic entities as His instruments of judgment.

Do not be deceived… the Destroyer is coming to a world near you.

By all means, strive to be physically prepared for unexpected emergencies and disasters—it is always wise to be prepared for potential natural crises. For example, we highly recommend have a stash of emergency food provisions.

However, if you think your physical preps—no matter how great they may be—will provide you with an insurance policy during the Tribulation… think again!

They will be of little—if any—help in a supernatural battle to the death with the likes of the Angel of the Abyss and his special forces unit of sadistic locusts.

As we always say, it is good to be physically prepared… but, above all else, it is even more critical that you are spiritually prepared!

Things may be looking really bad for the world’s collective future… but God!

God’s overarching desire is not that you should perish… but that you should have everlasting life through His Son Jesus Christ!

While Satan’s commanding generals and special forces will be in play during this period… God will also be deploying His own special forces in the greatest evangelistic harvest the world has ever seen—including 144,000 Jewish evangelists, the two witnesses in Jerusalem, and the angel of the Lord who will preach the everlasting gospel:

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water’” (Revelation 14:6-7).

But it doesn’t have to end this way for you!

The greatest news is that God doesn’t even want you to have to face this time of unmatched tribulation. God has provided an escape plan for believersthe Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13) that is the Rapture!

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 3:10).

Our focus should be firmly on trusting in Christ, walking in faith, serving as His ambassador, and catching the escape flight (rapture) out of here before the Antichrist is revealed, the apocalyptic tribulation period begins, and hell is unleashed on planet earth!

To learn more about the Rapture and Tribulation, I highly recommend reading our article Apocalypse Now—Are We Really Already in the Tribulation?

Folks, the die has been cast and the cards dealt. God has declared the end from the beginning, and we know where this world is headed.

This ship is sinking.

Do not be deceived… The world is on a collision course with the apocalypse—it has been since the Fall in the Garden.

As we revealed in our article Operation Lock Step—The Great Deception that Is the Final Solution, humanity is not on verge of ushering in a glorious new golden age of humanity.

Rather, its utterly wicked, depraved, and rebellious spirit is about to be judged by God… just as it was in Noah’s day.

And that judgment will include the arrival of supernatural forces of bloodthirsty wickedness, whose sole desire and mission will be to torment and kill those who dwell on the earth—like the Destroyer.

We are in the final momentsthis is how it ends for a tragically deceived world.

To learn more, we recommend you checkout our article We’re Never Going Back to Pre-Covid World—This Is How It Ends.

Again, thank God for the two greatest words in all the bible… “but GOD!

Things may be looking really bad… but God!

God is in in control. He alone is sovereign. His alone is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.

The world is perishing… but God!

God has lovingly provided you with the perfect solution… the only true solution… the solution only He could provide: eternal salvation through faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone!

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men… Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience… Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him… For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ… and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come” (Romans 1:18; Colossians 3:6; Romans 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:4-9)

While our world is only going to continue to get worse, the good news is that those who place their faith in Christ will not have to face the coming apocalyptic period of tribulation, including the Destroyer and the four fallen angels now bound at the Euphrates.

Jesus Christ will remove His church—His body of true believers—in advance of the coming tribulation period.

As God declared through the Apostle Paul, prior to the appearance of the Antichrist and the commencement of the beast system, Christ will return in the clouds to call His true followers (His ambassadors) home to heaven—the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13) that is the Rapture.

Make sure you have your boarding pass my friend!

How do you get onboard Titus 213 Airlines Flight #777?

Again, you punch your ticket to board the escape flight out of here by placing your faith in Christ and receiving eternal life today!

Don’t put it off… today is your day of salvation!
