Love & Unity—Exposing the False Gospel of Pope Francis (Part 1: False Path)

There is a beast rising out of the earth… a global false religious system that will deceive the world. This Luciferian counterfeit religious system will be led by the False Prophet Pope Francis. Join us as we expose the false gospel of Pope Francis—beginning in this article with the false path to salvation he and the Roman Catholic Church are preaching. Discover why the Pope’s seductive message of universal love and unity is the deceptive mantra of the Great Harlot that is Mystery Babylon…

The frequency and intensity of spiritual deception has increased to levels not seen since the days of Noah. As with any physical threat (e.g., natural disasters, blackouts, food shortages, etc.), you must be properly prepared to withstand these spiritual threats as well—lest you become deceived and perish for a lack of knowledge and understanding (cf. Hosea 4:6).

While we all have a tendency to focus intently on the New World Order agenda, it is important to recognize that this global economic and governmental transformation (a.k.a. the Great Reset) will be predicated on, facilitated by, and empowered through a spiritual transformation—the emerging one-world religious system referred to in Scripture as Mystery Babylon and known today as the religion of wokeness.

As this second beast arises from the sea of humanity—the “Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth” (Revelation 17:5)—its leader, False Prophet Pope Francis, is cunningly deceiving billions with a false Luciferian gospel that is paving the foundation for the revived false Babylonian religious system—under the banner of the Roman Catholic Church.

To expose this wickedly seductive and highly deceptive false gospel, we are embarking on a three-part study on the false gospel of Catholicism:

The False Gospel of the False Prophet Pope Frances (Series Outline)

In this—part one of the series—we will be discussing the False Path to salvation being offered by Francis through universal love and unity.

In part two of our series, we will discuss the False Conversion experience—known as “woke”—that is being peddled by Catholicism.

Finally, in part three of our series, we will discuss the False Fruit this false gospel seeks to produce and the coming purge of those who don’t produce it.

(We’ll add a link to part three once it’s published)

As we always warn our readers, being physically prepared is important and we encourage you to read our article 10 Reasons It’s Completely Biblical for a Christian to Be a Prepper.

However, do not be deceived, being spiritually prepared is even more essential—your eternal future depends on it!

Please note, this is going to be one of the longer articles we’ve published. To fully understand Mystery Babylon and the false gospel she’s preaching, there is a lot of foundational information that must be digested. Please invest the time to take it all in–it will be well worth the investment!

Having established the what, why, and how of this important series, let’s dive right into part one and expose the False Path to salvation being promoted by False Prophet Pope Francis

Unity & Love—False Gospel from the False Prophet

You literally cannot tune-in to anything from Pope Francis or the Vatican without hearing the unambiguous message of universal love and unity—it has quickly become the overriding mantra of Catholicism.

If we love “god”, they assert that we must then love everyone and everything.

Legacy Food Storage

If humanity has any hope of “saving” itself, Francis posits that we must unite under the banner of ecumenicalism—and not just within “Christendom” but among followers of all religions and beliefs.

Global solidarity in love is the path to salvationat least according the false gospel of Francis.

And this gospel has been enthusiastically embraced by the New World Order, including the Biden administration and large swaths of the American government—a government now manifesting the greatest representation of Roman Catholics in the history of our nation.

This false gospel of love and unity is predicated on the Pope’s concept of Fratelli Tutti and Laudato Si.

We’ll discuss these two teachings in detail shortly but, first, let’s analyze an example of this message and juxtapose it against God’s Word to expose the seductive and deceptive falsehood that it is.

Love & Unity—The 2021 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

Pope Francis’ theme for the 2021 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is “Abide in my love… You shall bear much fruit.”

This represents the false gospel of Mystery Babylon—the Great Harlot and Mother of Harlots—to a tee: Unity (solidarity) is achieved through love, which, in turn, produces the desired fruit.

Of course, it all depends on (1) how one defines this love and (2) what fruit one is desiring to produce.

And in this case, the devil—quite literally—is in the details.

In his introduction of the event, Pope Francis asserts that “the root of communion [unity] is the love of Christ,” adding, “It is urgent that we set aside particular interests [i.e., doctrine] to promote the common good and so our good example is fundamental: It is essential that Christians pursue the path toward full visible unity.”

The notion that God’s Word (i.e., doctrine) should be set aside in the name of the common good (unity) through an abstract, spiritualized, and wholly experiential “love” is entirely unbiblical, insultingly ungodly, and incredibly dangerous.

The Apostle Paul (denigrated by Catholicism, and for good reason) made this abundantly clear:

  • “…we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.” (Ephesians 4:14)
  • “knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for… any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine” (1 Timothy 1:10)
  • “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons… If you instruct [teach] the brethren in these things [doctrines], you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed… give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine… Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.” (1 Timothy 4:1, 6, 13, 16)
  • “…that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed.” (1 Timothy 6:1)
  • “But you have carefully followed my doctrine… But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:10, 14-17)
  • “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things…” (2 Timothy 4:2-5)
  • “…holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.” (Titus 1:9)
  • “But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine… in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility… that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things” (Titus 2:1, 7, 10)

(Given his emphasis on grace and sound doctrine, is it any wonder Catholicism diminishes the importance of the Apostle Paul?)

Furthermore, in Acts we read about the Berean believers, who “were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11).

To learn more about the importance of doctrine in these last days, we encourage you to read our article Spiritual Prepping 101: Be Like a Berean & Test Everything!

Unity is NOT the ends to which Christ calls us. Rather, we are called to be ambassadors for Christ—expanding His spiritual kingdom in this fallen world by declaring His truth and gospel.

While Paul does exhort believers to “keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3), he immediately declares that:

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:4-6).

Yes, unity within the body of Christ is important and called for—but NOT unity with those outside the body.

True believers have been called out of the world to be a light to the worldnot to love (be yoked with) the world or the things of the world.

This is the very concept of the church, ecclesia (called out ones), and of sanctification (being set apart to God).

The Pope adds that with all the positive steps forward in ecumenism, “We still need to persevere in love and in prayer, without lacking trust or tiring.”

Francis loves to reference “love” but not so much when it comes to defining it! Despite evoking the spirit of love ad nauseum, his silence regarding the nature of godly love is as striking as it is deafening… again, for good reason.

Let’s examine his theme for this year’s event and see how it holds up to the test of Scripture…

Abiding in His Love (John 15)—Exposing Pope Francis’ False Gospel

In drawing from John 15:1-17 to establish his unity theme, Pope Francis is guilty of both cherry-picking Scripture and deeply flawed exegesis.

First, we must be careful interpreting and applying the Gospels to ourselves. During His earthly ministry, Christ was preaching the gospel of the kingdom to a Jewish audience—one still under the Law.

Catholicism—like all false religions—is predicated on a works-based system of salvation. As such, the Roman Catholic Church loves to run to the Old Testament, Gospels, and those epistles written to a Jewish audience (prior to the divine transition to the Apostle Paul’s gospel of grace). They love to enslave you back under the Law—their law.

As such, we must always remember that all Scripture is written for you… but not to you!

We must rightly divide the Word (cf. 2 Timothy 2:15)—understanding the proper context, time (dispensation), and audience of a given passage.

Poor Exegesis—Unity & Love Is a False Path to Salvation

The first problem with Pope Francis’ interpretation and application of John 15 is that it is the product of poor exegesis.

Jesus’ overarching point was that His disciples can only produce godly (good) fruit by abiding in Him.

In other words, nothing we do outside of Christ is good, righteous, or glorifying to God—period.

As such, the real question is how do we abide in Christ?

We find that Jesus—in this very passage—directly answered this question, making it abundantly clear that His disciples abide in Him by following (keeping) His Word:

  • His Disciples Are Cleansed through the Word (v 3)
  • His Word Must Abide in His Disciples (v 7)
  • His Disciples Abide in His Love by Keeping His Word (Commandments) (v 10)

Again, Jesus was preaching the gospel of the kingdom to the Jews—the tribes of Israel… not the gospel of grace (Christianity) to the whole world (Jews and Gentiles alike) today.

The gospel of grace was still a mystery at this time. Christ would not reveal it to Paul until later (after the nation of Israel fully rejected Him as their Messiah)—initiating a parenthetical church age of grace, with the expressed purpose of provoking the Jews to jealousy.

But I digress! Simply put, it is critical that you understand that this gospel is not our gospel for today—it is distinct for a divine reason.

Having stated that, Jesus was declaring that when His Jewish disciples follow His Word, they will:

  • Abide in Him
  • Produce Godly Fruit
  • Please the Father
  • Imitate Him
  • Demonstrate His Love to the World

John reiterates this concept in his first epistle (letter), writing:

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1 John 2:3-6)

John makes it undeniably clear that what Jesus had taught during His earthly ministry—and John was there beside Him when Jesus literally spoke and taught what was recorded in John 15—was that “abiding in Him” meant “keeping His commandments” and “keeping His Word” meant “loves Him.”

Again, we must rightly divide God’s Word and recognize that John wrote this letter before God’s transition to the Paul’s gospel of grace.

As such, the Apostle John was declaring the gospel of the kingdom that he was personally taught by Jesus during His earthly ministrya gospel intended for the Jews of the tribes of Israel living under the Law:

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you” (1 John 1:5)

Thus, the “love” Jesus was referring to was not—as Pope Francis falsely asserts—some abstract form of emotional (feel-good), worldly “love”. Rather, it was an objective, distinct, and divine love manifested through obedience to His Word—meaning a love that is actively constrained by doctrine.

The former is a phílos type of love, an experience-based love that represents the most general type of love in Scripture—a broad, brotherly love for fellow humans expressed through care, respect, and compassion.

Rather, when Jesus said to abide in His “love” and to “love” one another in the context of this passage, He was referring to an agápē (not phílos) type of love.

What is an agápē love?

It is a selfless, sacrificial, perfect, pure, and divine love—the love by which God “gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Furthermore, it is a love that encompasses a moral preferenceGod’s moral preference.

As such, it is a divine love that embodies the very nature and character of God—represented by His Law and expressed in His Word.

In other words, Jesus was calling His disciples to love both Him and others as He loved them. Far more than merely treating others with worldly care, respect, and compassion, it was a clarion call to sacrifice themselves by taking-up their cross daily to walk as He walked (obedience to His Word) and to declare His truth (God’s moral preference) to the world, regardless of the earthly, temporal consequences.

By application, Christians today should also strive to manifest an agápē love towards Him and others by walking in the Spirit (producing the fruit of the Spirit) and sharing the truth of the gospel of grace.

Or, as the Apostle Paul puts it:

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children… For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth)… And do not be drunk with wine [i.e., controlled by the flesh], in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit [i.e., controlled by the Spirit].” (Ephesians 5:1, 8-9, 18)

While our salvation (a.k.a. remaining in the vine) is not dependent on our obedience, our fruit and witness to a lost world remains just as much a product of (1) conforming to Christ by walking in and submitting to the Spirit daily and (2) applying (being constrained by) solid doctrine in our lives—it is our anchor and spiritual foundation.

Though our salvation as Christians living in the church age (or age of grace)—once secured through faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone—is eternally secure, we still choose each day whether to walk in the Spirit and build our life on the rock of Scripture (sound doctrine) or walk in the flesh and build upon shifting sands.

And our choice impacts not only our physical, temporal lives but also our fellowship with God, our future inheritance (rewards), and our witness in this world.

In other words, doctrine MATTERS… it matters a LOT!

Legacy Food Storage

There are significant consequences—both temporal and eternal—for not following sound doctrine.

But Mystery Babylon doesn’t care about doctrine—it is all about experiential spirituality, predicated on a universal phílos type of love (a.k.a. Fratelli Tutti solidarity) and aimed at building a physical kingdom by the hands of man.

Selling this humanistic, feel-good path to salvation is patently offensive to God and the antithesis of His Word. It is the age-old Luciferian path to destruction—a path laid by the father of lies himself, Lucifer (the false light-bearer), in the Garden when He subtly seduced and deceived Eve into casting doctrine to the wind:

Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17).

And the consequence of their choice was disastrous not only for Adam and Eve but for all of humanity—for “through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned… through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation” (Romans 5:12, 18).

Now, to be clear, we should all demonstrate phílos love towards one another—meaning we should show care, respect, and compassion for all.

But God has called believers to demonstrate a higher love to others as well—an agápē love. This is the love the seeks to be controlled by the Spirit and expand the spiritual kingdom of Christ in this age by sharing the Truth—that we are sinners and Jesus Christ is the only path to true salvation (eternal life).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

If you see people marching off a cliff, do you seek to march off the cliff with them in solidarity?

Do you quietly watch as they plunge to their death, not wanting to speak up and offend them?

Or, do you sound the alarm and warn them—even if it angers them and challenges their false beliefs?

The Pope has replaced an agápē love with a phílos love—a universal brotherly love (a.k.a. Fratelli Tutti) that can never lead the lost to salvation—and a doctrinally-based faith with an experientially-based false religion.

Thus, love and unity are a false path to salvation—one predicated on poor exegesis that produces an errant understanding of love, unity, and the importance of doctrine.

Cherry-Picking—Unity & Love Is a False Path to Salvation

The second problem with Pope Francis’ interpretation and application of John 15 is that it is the product of cherry-picking Scripture to support a false presupposition (viz., that unity and love is humanity’s path to salvation—both individually and corporately).

One should find it interesting that Pope Francis always seems to slam on the brakes and stop at verse 17.

Why would he do that?

Because Jesus immediately continues by telling His disciples that if they are abiding in Him—following His Word (doctrine), then the world will hate and persecute them just as it did Him.

Jesus specifically states:

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin [in their own minds], but now they have no excuse for their sin… If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin [in their own minds]; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.” (John 15:22, 24)

In other words, if you are abiding in Me, then the world will hate you too.

Why?

Because you—meaning His disciples—will be making sin known to the world through your agápē love and fruit… fruit produced by being obedient to My Word (doctrine).

True agápē love is not universalism (unity or solidarity)—preaching that we are all brothers and sisters (and children of God as Pope Francis falsely claims) going to heaven (salvation) by whatever path we choose to believe in.

That is a doctrine of demons, which the Apostle Paul warns us about:

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1-3).

Thus, true agápē love does not seek to promote a false unity in sin but, rather, strives to expose the error of false religion so that folks can (1) recognize their true sinful condition, (2) realize the eternal consequence of that sin, and (3) understand that the only path that provides a solution for it is belief in the atoning work of Christ on the Cross.

Worldly love and unity represent a false path to salvation—one that resulted in the Flood, the tower of Babel, and the false Babylonian religious system.

And its revived form—Mystery Babylon (a.k.a. Roman Catholicism)—will result in the unleashing of God’s wrath and judgment upon a wicked world yet again during the forthcoming seven-year tribulation period.

Again, there is no other path to eternal life apart from Jesus: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

Rather than global solidarity (unity of humanity under the banner of brotherhood—or the Fratelli Tutti), God declares that we should “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5:11).

Pope Francis intentionally avoids those verses in Scripture that serve to expose his demonic presuppositions for what they are—lies.

Thus, love and unity are a false path to salvation—one predicated on a cherry-picking of Scripture that produces an errant understanding of love, unity, and the importance of doctrine.

Understanding the Roots & Foundation of Pope Francis’ False Gospel

To fully understand the false gospel of Pope Francis and Roman Catholicism, we must examine the roots and the foundation which feed and support it.

It is the roots of false knowledge and thinking that flow into his false theological foundation—a foundation upon which he is quickly expanding the religious edifice (or temple) that is Mystery Babylon.

The Roots and Foundation of Mystery Babylon--False Gospel of False Prophet Pope Francis

The Roots of Pope Francis’ False Gospel

First, to fully understand Mystery Babylon, we must examine the roots of Pope Francis’ theology—and they run deep. These roots include all those who have influenced his thinking over his lifetime, including during his doctoral studies (though he never completed them).

While by no means an exhaustive list, below are some of the key individuals that have influenced his religious understanding.

Romano Guardin

Romano Guardin was a 20th century Catholic priest, intellectual and significant influencer of Francis.

In fact, Francis cited Guardini’s The End of the Modern World eight times in Laudato si’—more than any other intellectual who was not a pope.

Guardin dealt primarily with the liturgical nature of Catholicism—stressing a renewed emphasis on experiential spiritualism (mysticism) and unity.

In his “Open Letter” (1964), Guardin challenged modern Christians (i.e., Catholics) to fully engage in worship, stressing the need to “relearn a forgotten way of doing things and recapture lost attitudes” in order to enter into the full liturgical and worship experience.

This is pure Gnosticism—emphasizing personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) over the orthodox teachings, gaining knowledge of the supreme divinity in the form of mystical or esoteric insight, and seeking true knowledge that has been hidden for many ages forgotten and lost to men.

Guardini asserted that Catholic worship should embrace “not only a spiritual inwardness, but the whole man, body as well as spirit,” adding that liturgical acts of worship “should be ‘done’ by the celebrant as a religious act and the faithful should ‘read’ it by an analogous act; they should see the inner sense in the outward sign… the ‘symbol’ is in itself something corporal-spiritual, an expression of the inward through the outward.”

This is an example of Western esotericism, with continuous allusions in his works to Gnostic/mystic themes like “as above, so below.” This is the very liturgical spirituality that will give birth to worship of the image of the beast.

As we examine the roots of Pope Francis’ false gospel, you can sense these Gnostic themes everywhere:

  • Knowledge is based on personal experience or perception
  • Truth is found in mystical or esoteric knowledge acquired through direct participation with the divine “Mystery”
  • Truth is found in an inward “knowing”
  • All religious forms are manifestations of the great Cosmic Universal Infinite Religion (“Mystery”) latent in the created world
  • Man must relearn or rediscover forgotten and/or lost divine knowledge (truth)
  • Knowledge is acquired through the experience of the awakened consciousness

Furthermore, Guardin asserts that the corporate body (the “church”) must manifest an absolute unity regarding this experientially based spirituality:

Of particular importance for the liturgical act is the active and full participation of the congregation as a body. The act is done by every individual, not as an isolated individual, but as a member of a body in which the Church is present. It is this body which is the ‘we’ of the prayers… It is that of a corpus, an objective whole. In the liturgical act the celebrating individual becomes part of this body and he incorporates the circumstances in his self-expression… In the act the individual becomes conscious of the meaning of the words ‘congregation’ and ‘Church’.”

In other words, out with doctrineit’s all about the experience.

It is about absolute unity (“we” or “let us”) and an emotional experience—reason and the Word of God (doctrine) is to be jettisoned at the door in favor of a unified and awakened consciousness.

Cunningly shrouded behind the pretense of “Christianity”, this is really all about the occult—using hidden ancient knowledge to unlock spiritual power through symbols, rituals, spells (spoken words), and enchantments.

It is the stuff of secret societies and religious cults going back to Babylon, Babel, the world of Noah, and the Fall—it’s Lucifer’s Gnostic false religious system.

Guardin sums it all up when he asserts that “the communal body of the congregation is more than a mere sitting together, but rather a solidarity of existence.”

It is all about spiritual unity and human solidarity—the spirit of Babel… the nature of Mystery Babylon.

Luigi Giussani

Luigi Giussani was a Catholic priest, theologian, and intellectual, whose premise was that faith is primarily an experience.

He asserted that faith is more than doctrines and moral laws—it is an event (a.k.a. experience). And Christ is at the center of everything—including this event. As such, we can only come to know Christ in the community of the Church… through our revelatory experience and unity.

Pope Benedict XVI delivered the homily at his funeral, declaring Giussani “understood that Christianity is not an intellectual system, a packet of dogmas, a moralism; Christianity is rather an encounter, a love story; it is an event.”

In other words, it is not a logical and rational faith—one anchored to the rock (or foundation) of God’s Word (doctrine).

Absolutely not according to Giussani!

To the contrary, it’s an emotionally and experientially based event… an unfolding love affair that cannot be defined or constrained by mere words (viz., Scripture). God cannot be placed in a theological box—He must be experienced through the canvas of life. There are no absolutes. No divine mandates. No divine moral framework.

Now, no one is saying that faith is purely a mental pursuit of the mind. Scripture makes it clear that believing occurs in the heart.

However, Scripture is clear that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Our emotions are easily manipulated by our flesh (sin nature) and Satan through seduction and deception.

Christianity is not religion… it absolutely is a relationship. However, God’s Word (doctrine) serves to define that relationship and guide our understanding of it—it protects us from ourselves (our sin nature) and our enemy (Satan), who “walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:7-9).

Giussani’s central theme is that, although morals and doctrine are both important, they are not the central event of faith. The central reality of faith is a relationship with Christ that must be experienced as He becomes visible (known or revealed to us) within our present reality and awakened consciousness.

In other words, experience trumps doctrine—a recipe for disaster that opens one up to the wicked schemes of the devil. Again, the same subtle lie Satan used to seduce and deceive Eve.

Karl Rahner

Karl Rahner was a German Jesuit priest and theologian, closely associated with Nouvelle Théologie (New Theology)—a Catholic school of thought that emerged during the mid-20th century.

The foundation of his theology was the idea of a proto-revelation—a latent, general experience (knowledge) of God in all human beings.

Rahner asserts that “Christianity” is just a distinctive, special revelation that builds upon or adds to this divine background experience. He borrows from Kant (an Enlightenment intellectual) to describe this as a “transcendental” spiritual experience.

This is where Francis—in stark contrast to Scripture—gets his Fratelli Tutti concept of universalism… that all people are God’s children and all paths lead to “god”.

Rahner preferred to refer to God as “Mystery” or “Absolute Mystery”—teaching that God is an unknowable mystery. Any divine revelation we may receive only serves to illuminate the incomprehensibility of this “Mystery”.

Again, this contradicts Scripture (doctrine), which declares that God the Father was made known through His Son Jesus Christ:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth… No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.” (John 1:1-4, 14, 18)

In other words, according to Rahner, we can never “know” God—we each merely see (experience) a different perspective of Him. Thus, all religions can be (and Francis clearly believes are) valid paths to the “Mystery”. After all, if God cannot be fully known, then who are we to say which perspectives are right or wrong. Rather, they all represent an experiential self-communication by the “Absolute Mystery” to man.

Again, here are just a few scriptures that declare the exact opposite—that God can and should be known through both His Word and His Son:

  • “If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” (Proverbs 2:4-6)
  • “Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.” (Hosea 4:1)
  • “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” (Hosea 4:6)
  • “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” (Hosea 6:6)
  • “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.” (1 Corinthians 15:34)
  • “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” (Ephesians 1:16-18)
  • “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.” (Colossians 1:10)
  • “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” (2 Peter 1:2-3)

Furthermore, Rahner asserts that God’s saving will in Christ is universal—that is, it extends to non-Christians and that Christians can learn from other religions or atheistic humanism because God’s grace is and can be operative in them.

As such, we all share a latent and saving knowledge of the “Mystery” and can interact with Him through that which is the unity, solidarity, or Fratelli Tutti of humanity. And the common denominator that unifies all humanity—the glue that holds that universal brotherhood together—is a shared “love” for one another and the greater good.

Henri de Lubac

Henri de Lubac was a French Jesuit priest and theologian, who also shared Rahner’s view of an unknowable “Mystery”.

In his 1938 book Catholicism, Lubac argued that God sought to heal the divisions among the human race caused by sin and to regather human beings into a true unity under the Roman Catholic Church.

He asserted that the church (Roman Catholicism) is the communio sanctorum—both the means to the unity of the human race and the visible sign of that unity.

As such, he viewed the mission and purpose of the “church” as “to engage with [humanity], shape its structures and culture, so that all women and men, whatever their nation, creed or status, can give expression to their dignity and thereby give glory to God, who did not, and does not, count the cost of loving humanity.”

In other words, the purpose of Roman Catholicism is to take dominion over the world and unite humanity under a false one-world religion by shaping its structures and culture—to create a perfected physical kingdom and New World Order.

Marie-Dominique Chenu

Marie-Dominique Chenu was a progressive Catholic theologian.

Influenced by an existing socialist current in the Roman Catholic Church, Chenu is viewed as the grandfather of the liberation theology movement and forerunner of the “ressourcement in theology” that preceded the reforms of Vatican II and gave birth to the nouvelle théologie.

Liberation theology is a synthesis of Christian theology and socio-economic analyses (Marxism)—which became the political “praxis” within the Roman Catholic Church for social justice, economic justice, and environmental justice.

It elevates “practice” (political, social, economic, and environmental action) above doctrine.

Its most well-known form is that which developed within the Catholic Church in Latin America in the 1960s—the home of one Pope Francis.

Liberation theology focuses on Marxist concepts, including institutionalized or systemic sin—for example, racism and the belief that poverty must be overcome by eliminating the sin of greed (viz., capitalism).

It views Christ as a historical political figure, a revolutionary, a social justice crusader, and as the subversive of Nazareth. Salvation is achieved by liberating humanity from the institutionalized sin that the oppressed live under.

Furthermore, it embodies dominion theology—one that sees the role of the church as building a physical kingdom of godliness (viz., equality) in our world by human effort.

It is largely accepted—even within Catholicism—that Pope Francis embraced the premise of liberation theology in his homeland during the 70s—just not the use of violence or armed insurgency in carrying it out.

While Francis rejected violence, he fully embraced this fundamentally flawed view of the very nature of the gospel, the church age, and the role of the “church” and Christians in it.

Thus, we find that the roots which fed Pope Francis included universalism, liberation theology, dominion theology, esoteric mysticism, and Gnosticism—roots that would lead him to construction a theological foundation predicated on unity, love, experiential spiritualism, and kingdom building.

Fratelli Tutti & Laudato Si—The Foundation of Pope Francis’ False Gospel

Now that we have exposed the roots of Pope Francis’ false gospel, let’s turn our attention to his theological foundation—one largely represented by his two Encyclicals Fratelli Tutti and Laudato Si.

Laudato Si’—The Cornerstone of Pope Francis’ False Theological Foundation

The first of Pope Francis’ two major Encyclicals was Laudato Si’, signed in May 2015 and published in June of that year.

Encyclicals are the Catholic equivalent of New Testament letters or epistles—for example, Paul’s letter to the Galatian church. As such, they represent papal teachings and Roman Catholicism holds that papal encyclicals are on the same level as canonized Scripture—meaning, they represent the expansion of divine revelation (a.k.a. “Thus sayeth the Lord”).

Of course, that is (to no surprise) an absolute contradiction of God’s Word, which asserts that the faith—as declared by the holy Scriptures—has been “once and for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).

Thus, these Encyclicals represent the false belief that the “Mystery” is continuing to communicate new revelation to man through, of course, the Roman Catholic Church and its popes (a.k.a. modern-day Apostles).

Laudato Si’ means “Praise be to you” and is subtitled “on care for our common home”.

Borrowing from Saint Francis of Assisi, Pope Francis establishes several core themes in this Encyclical, including:

  • Panentheism
  • Universalism
  • Dominionism
  • Liberationism
  • Environmentalism
  • Socialism

This work represents the cornerstone of Francis’ theological foundation of Fratelli Tutti and the necessary liberation of humanity from the shackles of systemic sin through the unified efforts of mankind.

Pope Francis writes:

Everything is related, and we human beings are united as brothers and sisters on a wonderful pilgrimage, woven together by the love God has for each of his creatures and which also unites us in fond affection with brother sun, sister moon, brother river and mother earth.”

Furthermore, according to Pope Francis and the Vatican’s Global Compact on Education, the obligation of Laudato Si’ is a “committ[ment] to finding new ways of understanding the economy, politics, growth and progress that can truly stand at the service of the human person and the entire human family… in accordance with the principles of subsidiarity, solidarity and a circular economy.”

Francis asserts that Laudato Si’ “includes a concern to bring the whole human family together to seek a sustainable and integral development… Humanity still has the ability to work together in building our common home…. We need a change that unites us all.”

Folks, this is a “let us” religion straight out of Babel—a false religion predicated on social, economic, and environmental justice (equality) as a means of uniting humanity and “making a name for ourselves” by building a great global kingdom or New World Order.

Furthermore, Pope Francis makes it clear that this great humanistic endeavor cannot be accomplished within the confines of God’s Word (doctrine). Rather, he notes:

I am interested in how such a spirituality can motivate us to a more passionate concern for the protection of our world. A commitment this lofty cannot be sustained by doctrine alone, without a spirituality capable of inspiring us, without an interior impulse which encourages, motivates, nourishes and gives meaning to our individual and communal activity.”

Let’s be clear. Spiritual experiences outside the parameters of Scripture are not from God. And if they are not from God, then they are from Satan.

Pope Francis and the Vatican are peddling a dangerous form of spiritualism that exposes (opens up) its converts to be lightning rods (or portals) for demonic activity and influence—it is an unambiguous framework of dark magic, mysticism, Gnosticism and esoteric occultism.

We will examine this spiritual element in more detail in part two of this series (False Conversion); however, for now it is sufficive to say that Laudato Si’ established a false foundation predicated on:

  • Liberation Theology (Social, Economic & Environmental Justice)
  • Dominionism (We Must Build a Great Kingdom of Love & Equality)
  • Experience (Spiritualism) over Doctrine (God’s Word)
  • A Focus on Subsidiarity, Solidarity, and a Circular Economy

As such, Laudato Si’ introduced the concept of the human family (universal brotherhood), which Pope Francis would expand upon in his next encyclical Fratelli Tutti.

Fratelli Tutti—The Capstone of Pope Francis’ False Theological Foundation

In Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis takes things to a whole other level of apostasy, advancing the notion of the universal fraternity of mankind, the unity of all faiths, and the church’s mission to create a great and glorious kingdom on earth through “a love that transcends the barriers of geography and distance, and declares blessed all those who love their brother.”

Francis declares that the valid aspiration of humanity is one of a unified and integrated world (a.k.a. one-world system), while he rejects nationalism and, apparently, the lessons of Babel regarding the consolidation of humanity into a politically and religiously centralized structure.

In fact, throughout Fratelli Tutti, he continuously repeats the mantra that “we need to think of ourselves more and more as a single family dwelling in a common home.”

The Pope seems to correctly understand the current condition of the world, devoting entire chapters to describing the brutal realities of our world. For example, he notes that “it frequently becomes clear that, in practice, human rights are not equal for all.”

You think???

Unfortunately, Francis just chooses to respond to that condition in a manner consistent with an antichrist spirit rather than the Word of God.

Rather than accepting the truth declared in Scripture, that (1) the condition of the world will only continue to deteriorate until Christ returns to establish His earthly kingdom and (2) our mission as true believers is to expand the spiritual kingdom of Christ, Pope Francis instead chooses to believe that (1) humanity can overcome the curse of sin and establish our own utopian kingdom of peace and equality and (2) our mission is, therefore, to seek our worldly kingdom through love and unity—the efforts of humanity.

However, nowhere in Scripture are we called to forge a glorious kingdom on earth. Rather, we are called to expand the spiritual kingdom by sharing the gospel of grace that is eternal life in Christ, as well as developing a mature spiritual faith in believers that operates in the midst of a fallen world and the storms that rage in it.

The age of grace is about Christ’s spiritual kingdom… not our worldly kingdom.

This is why doctrine is so important!

Pope Francis actually manages to acknowledge that “even though the international community has adopted numerous agreements aimed at [improving equality],” they have failed to deliver the desired outcome.

Yet, his answer is to double-down and call for an even stronger global community and more agreements???

Einstein once quipped that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Francis also repeatedly utilizes false cause arguments (logical fallacies) to sell his lie, such as asserting that we have “war, terrorist attacks, racial or religious persecution, and many other affronts to human dignity” today because “we no longer have common horizons that unite us.”

First off, despite his desire to buttress the need for unity, history demonstrates absolutely no causal connection between a reduction in common horizons and an increase in violence.

Secondly, what period of unity in common horizons could he possibly be referring to?

We have had violence and strife in this world since the Fall—regardless of the level of common horizons we managed to achieve. Cain murdered his brother from the start and God had to literally destroy life on earth because He “saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5).

Could the Pope be reminiscing about those glory days of old under the Roman Catholic Empire?

Did those “common horizons” under a united Europe usher in a world of love, peace, and equality?

Of course not! Just think crusades (wars) and repeated inquisitions involving some of the most wicked and heinous persecutions ever carried out—all under the sanction of the popery of Rome and with absolutely zero equality or freedoms for the commoners (serfs).

Again, Pope Francis understands the condition—stating “there exists a moral deterioration that influences international action and a weakening of spiritual values and responsibility”—but utterly fails to understand neither the cause nor the divine solution for that deterioration.

He calls for a renewed “sense of belonging to a single human family” and “the dream of working together for justice and peace” in the pursuit of a utopia.

Sadly, Pope Francis—because he is utterly untethered to God’s Word—is living in a Luciferian fantasy world. He has been seduced and deceived by the same old false “enlightenment” that has been subtly marketed to the world since Eve in the Garden by the false light-bearer Lucifer.

The false gospel of Pope Francis argues that “the basic decision we need to make in order to rebuild our wounded world” is to love and do good works.

No Francis. The world is perishing because of our rejection of God… not because we just haven’t “built back better” enough.

It’s a sin problem… not an engineering or construction problem.

Furthermore, Pope Francis elevates dignity above God’s absolute truth, arguing that we must accept and love everyone’s perspective on God… to do otherwise is to disrespect their dignity.

What about their eternal future? Will their “dignity” provide them with eternal life?

Nowhere in the Pope’s false gospel will you find any mention of the wages of sin… death. And again, if you don’t understand the problem, then you will never understand the solution—the atoning work of Christ on the Cross.

Rather than joining the Apostle Paul in proclaiming “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth” (Romans 1:16), False Prophet Pope Francis is busy proclaiming that:

It is essential to devise stronger and more efficiently organized international institutions, with functionaries who are appointed fairly by agreement among national governments, and empowered to impose sanctions… such an authority ought at least to promote more effective world organizations, equipped with the power to provide for the global common good.”

He sums it up perfectly when he declares that the role of the Roman Catholic Church is to work for “the advancement of humanity and of universal fraternity”—not the advancement of the gospel of Christ and the glorification of God!

Finally, in Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis continues to unveil his embrace of universalism—the belief that we are all children of God and all religions share the same God (just viewed from different perspectives and degrees of understanding)—including these statements:

  • “We, the believers of the different religions, know that our witness to God benefits our societies”
  • “The effort to seek God with a sincere heart… helps us recognize one another as travelling companions, truly brothers and sisters”
  • “The Church esteems the ways in which God works in other religions, and ‘rejects nothing of what is true and holy in these religions. She has a high regard for their manner of life and conduct, their precepts and doctrines which… often reflect a ray of that truth which enlightens all men and women’.”
  • “…accepting our differences and rejoicing that, as children of the one God, we are all brothers and sisters”
  • “God’s love is the same for everyone, regardless of religion. Even if they are atheists, his love is the same.”

Pope Francis lays bare his theological error when he asserts that the essentials of the faith are “worship of God and love for our neighbour” and that all religions perform this function to some degree… “Christians” just have a stronger and richer spiritual identity with which they can contribute to the universal family of “god” (a.k.a. the universal brotherhood or Fratelli Tutti).

Andy Roman aptly notes:

Pope Francis seeks to unite all the different religions under a single world-wide, pantheistic and ecumenical faith. By deifying nature and promoting ecumenism, the Papacy is building common ground with all the false religious systems of the world (Revelation 17:5). By avoiding biblical doctrine and theology, Rome’s ecumenical movement will transcend the true biblical God of the Bible and encompass all gods known to man.”

Conclusion

As we have presented above, the false gospel of Pope Francis and the Vatican preaches a false path to salvation—a path of so-called love and unity.

This false gospel is built on a foundation laid by Pope Francis in his Encyclicals Laudato si’ and Fratelli Tutti—a foundation predicated on an experientially-based spirituality rather than scripturally-based doctrine.

Furthermore, it is focused on building a glorious earthly kingdom—a mission fed by the roots of universalism, liberation theology, dominionism, esoteric mysticism, panentheism, and Gnosticism.

Upon this demonic foundation, Mystery Babylon is arisingthe Great Harlot that embodies the false Babylonian religious system of Satan.

The Roots & Foundation of Mystery Babylon--the False Gospel of Pope Francis

What do you do in response? How do you ensure you are spiritually prepared to recognize and resist this coming beast?

First, you need to ensure your salvation is secure.

Today is your day of salvation—a salvation that comes but one way: by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:4-9)

Works—including love and unity—will not, no matter how “good” they may appear, deliver eternal life to any of us. We cannot work our way to heaven. If we could, there would have been no need for Christ to sacrifice Himself for us.

There is only one true path to salvation—belief in the atoning work (shed blood) of Christ.

We are all sinners and the wages of sin are death. The only question is whose death will pay your sin debt: Your death (eternal damnation) or Christ’s death (eternal life).

Choose wisely my friends!

If you haven’t already, we highly encourage you to read our articles The Ship IS Sinking… What Are YOU Going to Do as It Goes Under? and Are You Prepping to Survive or to Escape the Coming Fiery Furnace?

Second, you need to be reading and studying your Bible. As Jesus taught, God’s Word is your sound foundation—the rock upon which you must build your house (life):

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:24-27)

Finally, while our world is only going to continue to get worse, the good news is that those who place their faith in Christ will not have to face the wicked and totalitarian nightmare of the Antichrist and False Prophet—“For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

The world is on a collision course with the apocalypse—it has been since the Fall in the Garden.

Humanity is not on verge of ushering in a glorious new golden age. Rather, its utterly wicked, depraved, and rebellious spirit is about to be judged by God… just as it was in Noah’s day.

We are in the final momentsthis is how it ends for a tragically deceived world.

But Christ will remove His church—His body of true believers—in advance of God unleashing His righteous wrath and judgment on this wicked world.

Prior to the appearance of the antichrist and the commencement of the beast system, Christ will return in the clouds to call His true followers (His ambassadors) home to heaven—the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13) that is the Rapture.
