Government Will Be Coming to Your Home to Remove Sick Family Members?

Dr. Michael Ryan made some quiet but none the less shocking statements during a recent WHO press briefing on Covid-19 (March 30th). He asserted that the next step in the pandemic response needs to include state health officials going to homes and removing sick family members for isolation in government facilities!

Why should you care what he said?

Well, Dr. Ryan is an epidemiologist specializing in infectious disease and public health. More importantly, he is Executive Director of the World Health Organization’s Health Emergencies Program where he leads the team responsible for the international containment and treatment of COVID-19.

Despite all the failures of the WHO, government and health officials still listen to them—and are frequently influenced by the seeds they plant when formulating their approach to the coronavirus pandemic.

Here’s a clip highlighting the relevant statements by Dr. Ryan. We’ll examine the implications of his statements—specifically in the US—below. However, it is well worth a few minutes of your time to actually listen to what he is saying and calling for!

Obviously, the US is very different from the majority of the world—areas where totalitarian measures can be easily implemented. However, that doesn’t mean similar steps cannot transpire in our own neighborhoods, cities, counties and states.

Here’s what we can anticipate moving forward…

Step One: We Need to Restart the Economy & Get People Back to Work

This is already the mantra of the Trump administration and media on the right. We have got to get folks back to work.

This groundwork is already being laid.

However, the million-dollar question is: How do we do that safely?

With a large portion of our nation infected—whether sick or asymptomatic, how do we provide a safe work environment for those returning to work?

How do we limit continued spread of Covid-19 and prevent the unwinding of the gains we’ve accomplished with NPIs—specifically, social distancing and lockdowns?

It will require isolating the threat.

Step Two: We Need to Isolate the Sick & Covid-19 Carriers

The simple answer is that, if we are going to move away from broad lockdowns and restart the economy, we will need to aggressively identify and isolate “sick” people—or anyone infected.

We will begin to hear the message:

Legacy Food Storage

“If we want to return to ‘normal’ life, we must surrender certain freedoms and sacrifice those who are sick with coronavirus or carrying the virus—turning them over to the government for appropriate isolation.”

As we peak and begin to stabilize, “flatten the curve” will be replaced by the catch phrase “push down the virus.”

That will be the inevitable next step in managing the crisis.

We will begin to hear it everywhere. Of course, it will be communicated in a positive and beneficial light. It will be backed by the sound “logic and reason” of experts (medical, economic, etc.) as a “we must do this” action—one required to mitigate the crisis and restore normalcy.

Step Three: Physical Removal and Isolation of Those Infected with Coronavirus

Health workers will knock on your door seeking to identify “sick” family members you may be harboring in your home in order to temporarily remove them from society—of course, to “beneficial” and “caring” government facilities until such a time as they are able to safely rejoin the world (if they survive).

Have a parent in your home that’s become sick? Have a son or daughter that’s become sick?

Well, it will be your patriotic duty to turn them over to the state for proper isolation and care!

Watch for this… we will all have critical choices to make when that knock comes!

And this progression of steps will only become more “necessary and critical” if reinfection and/or reactivation are proven to be a real risk of SARS-CoV-2! To learn more about this new potential risk, I encourage you to read our article Fear & Data Mount Regarding Risk of Covid-19 Reinfection and Reactivation.

The Unfortunate Conclusion

There is a very real risk that—in order to save the economy and restore some degree of normalcy to society—we will see a move to isolate those sick with the coronavirus.

This will include government officials—likely health workers with law enforcement—using aggressive contact tracing (including knocking on doors) to find and remove sick individuals from homes and transfer them to government identified and managed isolation/treatment facilities.

Remember that the UN despises the family unit (especially parental rights) and views things purely from the vantage of the state and the “common” or “greater” good.

While the Americans will likely resist this move—especially if enacted like a hammer, most will eventually accept it as a necessity and the “right” or “patriotic” thing to do if it is enacted slowly. Doing so would allow folks’ “baseline” to slowly adjust to a new norm—just another version of the proverbial frog in a simmering pot of water.

Be on guard for this and prepared ahead of time for how you will handle that knock on your door!
