Following the signing of the initial Abraham Accords (and with more Arab Gulf nations likely to join the bandwagon in the coming weeks and months), the world is celebrating the accords as a significant step towards peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East. Sadly, many Jews and professing Christians are joining in this chorus of joyful exuberance. However, the question we must all ask is: What is God’s perspective on all of this? In this article, we aim to answer this question by clearing showing how God feels… and what that means for Israel, America, and the rest of the world.
We recently discussed the Abraham Accords in our article Abraham Accord Deception: Sudden Apocalyptic Consequences?; however, I feel it is important to take a deeper dive into the matter in order to gain a greater understanding regarding God’s perspective on it.
God is neither ambiguous nor silent on the matter. He has consistently communicated His position on this matter throughout the Scriptures. It really doesn’t matter how we feel about it. What matters is that we understand and embrace God’s position—all others are blasphemous and represent a path to judgment and destruction.
To be clear, Trump’s Peace Deal of the Century and the Abraham Accords are essentially about two things: (1) a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians (land) and (2) an emerging one-world religion or, as Pope Francis has termed it, a global human fraternity.
It represents a fundamental conflation of religions—a moral and spiritual equivocation, which argues that we are all one under Abraham and, therefore, all our religions and gods are equally valid and of the same essence and substance.
This is clearly demonstrated by Ambassador Freidman who, when asked by President Trump during the initial White House announcement of the Abraham Accord to explain why it was being called the “Abraham” Accord, stated:
President Trump: “I made clear that the problems of The Middle East can only be solved when people of all faiths come together… And I’d like to ask our ambassador, David Friedman to please explain why we’re doing and calling it the Abraham Accord.”
Ambassador Friedman: “Thank you Mr. President. And congratulations to you on brokering this historic peace agreement. Abraham, as many of you know, was the father of all three great faiths. He’s referred to as Abraham in the Christian faith. Ibrahim in the Muslim faith and Abraham in the Jewish faith. And no person better symbolizes the potential for unity among all these three great faiths than Abraham. And that’s why this accord has been given that name.”
While this entirely fallacious ecumenical dimension (a.k.a. the emerging global false Babylonian religious system) is of critical importance, I would like to focus more exclusively on the land aspect of the process in this article. By doing so, I think we can clearly identify how God feels about the Abraham Accords and Trump’s Deal of the Century… and what that means for Israel, America, and the rest of the world.
To learn more about the religious implications, I encourage you to read our articles Abraham Accord Deception: Sudden Apocalyptic Consequences?, Wokeness—Rebirth of Global Babylonian False Religious System, and I Come In My Own Name: Is Pope Francis the False Prophet?
With that said, let’s turn our attention to the land and the two-state solution…
Abraham Accords—It’s All about a Two-State Solution
At its heart, this “peace and security” process—both the Deal of the Century and the Abraham Accords—is about a two-state solution… period. It’s about stopping annexation. As such, it is predicted entirely on land for peace—also known as dividing the land.
UAE Foreign Affairs Minister Anwar Gargash told Sky news just after the accords were signed in DC:
We have a clear commitment to stop annexation. The undermining of a two-state solution is something that has been dealt with… The threat of annexing Palestinian lands will be the major, major threat to the prospects of a two-state solution. Through this deal Israel is committed to suspend any annexation plans.”
UAE officials later told Israeli media that, regarding the potential selection of an ambassador and the formation of an embassy in Israel, “The upgrading of diplomatic relations depend directly on the success of 2-state-solution talks between Israel and the Palestinians, meaning the diplomats will start moving only after a Palestinian State had been established.”
This is precisely what Mohamed Bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of UAE, announced on Twitter when the Abraham Accord agreement was reached:
“During a call with President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, an agreement was reached to stop further Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories.”
How about the United States—the arbitrator of these deals and accords? Here’s what Jared Kushner had to say regarding the Deal of the Century during a White House briefing:
President Trump was able to get Israel to agree to have a two-state solution with the Palestinians and for the first time in history to agree to a map that outlined the territory that they would be willing to work with in order to see that happen.”
The document itself—”Peace to Prosperity: A Vision to Improve the Lives of the Palestinian and Israeli People” (as released by the White House in January 2020)—specifically states:
- “This Vision creates a realistic Two-State solution in which a secure and prosperous State of Palestine is living peacefully alongside a secure and prosperous State of Israel in a secure and prosperous region.” (p. 3)
- “Any realistic peace proposal requires the State of Israel to make a significant territorial compromise… ” (p. 8)
- “This Vision provides for the transfer of sizeable territory by the State of Israel—territory to which Israel has asserted valid legal and historical claims, and which are part of the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people…” (p. 8)
And the support for the suspension of Israeli annexation has been heralded by governments around the world. In fact, the US, United Nations, European Union (viz. France & Germany), Australia, China, India, and a host of Arab nations (e.g., Egypt & Jordan) are all saying it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread—one sure to introduce a wonderful period of peace and security.
But is that God’s view?
God’s Land—The Heart of the Matter
God has made it expressly clear that any division of the land (His land) represents the breaking of the everlasting Abrahamic covenant that He made with Abraham—an action that will result in apocalyptic judgment.
Isaiah prophesied of the end times, writing:
From the ends of the earth we have heard songs: ‘Glory to the righteous!’ But I said, ‘I am ruined, ruined! Woe to me! The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously, Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.’ Fear and the pit and the snare are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.” (Isaiah 24:16-17)
The parties to the Abraham Accords are treacherous dealers… and they have dealt very treacherously indeed.
God ensured there was no confusion regarding the matter. He made his eternal covenant very clear—His land was given to Abraham as an inheritance. Furthermore, the title deed to His land belongs solely to Israel—passed down from Abraham to Isaac and from Isaac to Jacob.
Ishmael was NOT recognized by God as a son of (heir to) Abraham. God makes this distinction crystal clear when He repeats it three times in Genesis 22 while speaking to Abraham:
- “Then He said, ‘Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you'” (Genesis 22:2).
- “And He said, ‘Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.'” (Genesis 22:12).
- “…and said: ‘By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son’” (Genesis 22:12).
Again, God makes it clear that (1) His inheritance (the land) passes through Isaac alone and (2) Ishmael and the Arab nations he fathered have zero claim to it. Furthermore, it is worth noting that God indicates that this is not only an everlasting covenant… but it is a unilateral one (“By Myself I have sworn”). It is UNCONDITIONAL. There is nothing that any man—Jew or Arab—can do to cancel or modify that ownership.
Still not sure? Well God repeats these terms again and again in Scripture:
- “Then God said: ‘No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him’” (Genesis 17:19).
- “But God said to Abraham, ‘Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.'” (Genesis 21:12)
- Speaking to Jacob: “And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: ‘I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants‘” (Genesis 28:13).
- “Then God appeared to Jacob again, when he came from Padan Aram, and blessed him. And God said to him, ‘Your name is Jacob; your name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but Israel shall be your name… The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I give to you; and to your descendants after you I give this land.'” (Genesis 35:9-10, 12)
- “Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel [Jacob], Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever‘” (Exodus 32:13).
- “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Depart and go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘To your descendants I will give it”” (Exodus 33:1).
- “See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them” (Deuteronomy 1:8).
- “Then the Lord said to him, ‘This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants”” (Deuteronomy 34:4).
- “He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. Remember His covenant forever, the word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac, and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant, saying, ‘To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance,’ when you were few in number, indeed very few, and strangers in it.” (1 Chronicles 16:14-19)
Simply put, there is no conceivable way to believe God’s land was given as an inheritance to the Jews and the Arabs (or Palestinians) in an everlasting covenant. Only Israel has a claim to the land before God… period.
Deal of the Century & Abraham Accords: What’s Really Going On?
As we established above, God gave an everlasting inheritance to the Jews—His land.
Now, when the Jews returned to their land (via the Balfour Declaration and the rebirth of the nation in 1948), they began to restore that land… with the help of employed Muslim Arabs.
These helpers (a.k.a. Palestinians)—coveting what quickly appeared to be a land of great value and opportunity—advanced a false claim of ownership on the land… the very land that was exclusively given to Israel as an everlasting and unconditional inheritance by God.
It just so happens that this fraudster (under the false banner of a Palestinian nation) has a very powerful and wealthy family (Muslim & Arab nations) that outnumber Israel 200 to 1—providing it with tremendous leverage to illegitimately seize that which does not belong to it.
Now, the United States—under the leadership of the Trump administration—decides to step in as the great arbitrator of the dispute. In the name of peace and security in the Middle East, America declares within the framework of President Trump’s Deal of the Century that Israel should only receive 30% of the disputed land (the land given to them by God) and the fraudster should receive 70%—a two-state solution.
In other words, the very country that claims to be a “Christian” nation, biblically guided, and the very superpower in whom Israel relies on for her security—who should have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interest of its ally and serve the desire of God—has betrayed both the Jews and God.
The US has orchestrated a deal that is predicated on the very belief that the land does not belong to Israel. This represents an absolute rejection of God… the very God who has abundantly blessed America for her defense of Israel.
After all, as part of the same Abrahamic covenant that bestowed the land to Israel, God also declares:
I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you” (Genesis 12:3).
America has been the beneficiary of tremendous blessings from God for standing with Israel… now we are facing tremendous judgment from Him for betraying her. For more on this, I encourage you to read our article Mystery Babylon—God’s Judgment on America Forthcoming?
And, Israel—by agreeing to the deal—is conforming to and abiding by this same belief on which the Arab nations stand—namely, that Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”) is Palestinian land that belongs to them and not Israel.
Furthermore, the US actually specifies in that document that Israel should officially recognize the Palestinian false claims to the land—a non-existent nation that is not even recognized by God.
Folks, that is Trump’s Deal of the Century—orchestrated by Jared Kushner.
And, for the sake of supposed peace and security, Israel agreed to the arbitrated two-state deal and surrendering 70% of the contested land—thereby breaking God’s law and the everlasting covenant.
That folks is bad enough… but unfortunately it gets worse.
The US then suddenly decided not to allow Israel to go forward with the agreement—meaning, it blocked Israel’s annexation of the 30%.
Because a member of that fraudster’s powerful and wealthy family (the UAE) decided that it doesn’t want Israel to have the 30% because it considers all of the contested land to be “Palestinian” land. This nation convinced the US to call the whole deal off.
However, this nation knows that it depends on Israel for security against Iran, so it proposes a treacherous, self-serving trade: prosperity (economic wealth) in exchange for the land. The Arab gulf nations continue to benefit from the security that Israel provides in the region and the Palestinians get the land… in exchange for the “promise” of prosperity to Israel.
In essence, Israel has once again committed adultery against God—marrying a family member (the United Arab Emirates) of the heathen imposter that is stealing the nation’s divine inheritance (God’s land)—all in the name of the allure of worldly peace and prosperity!
And who setup the adulterous relationship and performed the blasphemous marriage?
Why the United States did!
Ask yourself: What do you think God thinks about this as He looks down from the heavens???
The Deal of the Century was bad enough—a violation of God’s law and a breaking of His everlasting covenant… but the Abraham Accords are even worse!
And the Accords have now been signed by Israel. Thus, the adultery has been officially recognized and consecrated.
This is deeply offensive to God!
And they rejected His statutes and His covenant that He had made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He had testified against them; they followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the nations who were all around them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them that they should not do like them” (2 Kings 17:15).
Israel is chasing wealth, fame and acceptance from the world. Like King Solomon, they are acting under the sun and not the Son… and it will only produce vanity.
Israel repeatedly engaged in spiritual and economic adultery in the past and they are doing it again… and it will bring judgment upon them and the whole world—including the “great” arbitrator that is America.
Israel has traded their own inheritance and promises from God for worldly prosperity and lusts—in no small part thanks to the wicked influence of America.
Consequence of Dividing the Land—God’s Judgment Is Forthcoming
We’ve now examined God’s view of both the Deal of the Century and the Abraham Accords… but what do the Scriptures tell us about His response to the dividing of His land?
Again, God doesn’t mince His words—He is crystal clear about the consequences.
Abraham Accords: A Covenant with Death & Hell
Through the Prophet Isaiah, God declares that Israel has entered into a covenant with death and hell. Isaiah writes:
Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower which is at the head of the verdant valleys, to those who are overcome with wine!… The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, will be trampled underfoot… But they also have erred through wine, and through intoxicating drink are out of the way; The priest and the prophet have erred through intoxicating drink, they are swallowed up by wine, they are out of the way through intoxicating drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filth; No place is clean.” (Isaiah 28:1, 3, 7-8)
In Scripture, Ephraim always refers to idolatrous and adulterous Israel. As we noted earlier, Israel—under the guidance and influence of America—has once again become an adulterous people in the eyes of the Lord.
They have entered into a covenant with dangerous heathen nations out of pride. Their leaders have said in their heart “We can achieve peace and security ourselves.” They have become drunk on the promise of prosperity.
This pride and drunkenness has caused their judgment and vision to fail. They have deceived themselves. God declares that their actions are like vomit and filth… and they will be trampled underfoot—their will be no peace, security, or prosperity.
Isaiah goes on:
Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.’” (Isaiah 28:14-15)
God declares that Israel’s leadership has made a covenant with death and with hell. Out of pride and drunkenness they have deceived themselves. Rather than trusting in God and His Word, they are trusting in lies and hiding behind falsehoods—believing that this covenant will deliver peace, security, and prosperity.
Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily. Also I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet…” (Isaiah 28:16-17)
God reiterates that He alone has drawn the boundaries of His land. He warns that Israel should not tamper with His cornerstone and foundation in haste. Yet, Israel—again, under the influence of America—has done just that… they have hastily entered into a wicked accord. They were going to move forward with annexation and—at the last moment—inked a last-minute agreement. They failed to heed God’s warning.
What will be the consequence of this adulterous and unbelieving act?
Isaiah reveals the apocalyptic answer when he declares:
The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it… For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts, a destruction determined even upon the whole earth.” (Isaiah 28:17-18, 22)
God reveals to Isaiah that this act—this adulterous division of His land—will trigger destruction upon the whole earth.
Gods everlasting and unconditional covenant with Israel will not be violated. The adulterous accords that Israel has illegitimately entered into will not stand—they will be annulled by God Himself.
God’s judgment will fall on the world.
Breaking the Everlasting Covenant—More Scriptures Declaring the Coming Judgement
Continuing our examination of God’s Word, we find that Isaiah also declares:
Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered; And you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you! When you cease plundering, you will be plundered; When you make an end of dealing treacherously, they will deal treacherously with you… Surely their valiant ones shall cry outside, the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly. The highways lie waste, the traveling man ceases. He has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he regards no man. The earth mourns and languishes, Lebanon is shamed and shriveled; Sharon is like a wilderness, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.” (Isaiah 33:1, 7-9)
God declares that those who (1) plunder His land and people and (2) deal treacherously with Israel will face His wrath and judgment.
He declares that the “ambassadors of peace” shall weep bitterly. Who is included in that group? None other than America—the great arbitrator of the deal and accords that “have broken the covenant!” The United States has dealt treacherously with Israel and she will reap what she sowed.
Again, God declares through the Prophet Joel:
I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land” (Joel 3:2).
Again, God declares through the Prophet Zechariah:
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” (Zechariah 12:1-3)
God declares that all who attempt to divide the land and tinker with Jerusalem will themselves be cut into pieces. One needs only look at our country since Trump announced his Deal of the Century in January to clearly see that we have ourselves been divided and cut into pieces ever since!
And again Isaiah declares:
The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.” (Isaiah 24:5-6)
Isaiah is referring to the coming seven-year tribulation period—which will be triggered by the division of God’s land and the breaking of His everlasting covenant with Israel. This wickedness will be the final straw that results in the wrath and judgment of God being poured out on the entire world.
The Apostle Paul confirms when this period of wrath and judgment will begin:
For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
As we noted at the start of this article, the entire world is singing songs of peace and safety—peace and safety that is predicated on dividing God’s land and breaking His everlasting covenant. Paul reveals that this is precisely when destruction will come. There will be no peace or safety outside of God. Destruction is coming… and it will come suddenly!
An indication of just how precarious things really are in the Middle East is revealed in a recent tweet by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (President of Turkey—a major player in the coming war of Gog and Magog):
Peace is not coming folks. The Muslim Arab nations will not let this go… they are intent on burdening themselves with God’s stone that is Jerusalem. Erdoğan made it crystal clear that he believes “Jerusalem is our city” and stated “We consider it an honor on behalf of our country and nation to express the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people on every platform, with whom we have lived for centuries,” adding, “With this understanding, we will follow both the Palestinian cause, which is the bleeding wound of the global conscience, and the Jerusalem case to the end.”
Finally, we would be wise to reflect on Jesus’ words:
Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” (Matthew 18:7)
Woe to America and woe to Trump and his administration that treacherously brokered this covenant with death and hell… by whom the offense—the division of God’s land and the breaking of His everlasting covenant—has come!
Much of the world is enthusiastically celebrating the Abraham Accords as a meaningful step towards peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East (and the world). However, all that really matters is how God feels about it.
We have laid out a scriptural case that clearly demonstrates God has been righteously angered by both the Deal of the Century and the Abraham Accords.
His land—which He has exclusively and irrevocably gifted to Israel as an everlasting inheritance—has been divided and plundered by an illegitimate people based on entirely fallacious claims. Furthermore, this division has been arbitrated by America—the very nation that claims to be the true ally of Israel. That represents treachery in its purest and most wicked form.
As a result, severe judgment unlike the world has ever seen or will ever see again is coming. Destruction is about to be unleashed on the world… destruction that will come quickly and suddenly.
However, there is good news. We must append the greatest two words in the Bible to this reality… but God!
Destruction is coming to the world… but God will use that which was meant for evil to glorify Himself and save a multitude of lost souls.
Furthermore, God will rescue His children from the coming destruction. The imminent seven-year tribulation period is the seventieth week of Daniel and the time of Jacob’s trouble (Israel)… not the time of the church’s trouble. God will use this time to judge the unrighteous world and complete the redemption of His chosen people—the Jews.
You do not need to face the wrath and judgment of God. He has provided you with a choice! He sent His Son Jesus Christ to shed His blood on the Cross that you might have forgiveness and eternal life with Him.
The ship is sinking folks. You can either go down with it or you can enter the lifeboat that is Jesus Christ. I highly recommend you take a moment to read our article The Ship IS Sinking… What Are YOU Going to Do as It Goes Under?
Don’t miss understand us, physical prepping has value and is biblical. However, it will NOT save you from the coming destruction—only being spiritually prepared by trusting in Christ can do that.
To get a better understanding of what that destruction will look like, I recommend reading our article Coming Apocalypse: Are You Really Prepared for Armageddon?
Time is up my friend. I exhort you to choose Christ today… tomorrow may be too late.
At the first destruction, God utilized a physical ark to spare Noah and his family. This time, he will use a spiritual Ark—His beloved Son Jesus Christ.
Christ is coming to rapture His church… His body… His bride. He will come as a thief in the night and, as in the days of Noah, most will be woefully unprepared. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye and once God seals the door to the Ark shut… it will be too late!
How do you enter the lifeboat—the Ark that is Christ? How do you obtain eternal life with God?
It’s simple… salvation comes but one way: through faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone.
Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me‘” (John 14:6).
Here’s the Gospel—your means for getting in the Lifeboat:
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins… But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:1, 4-9)
As always, keep prepping. We don’t know how bad things could get before we are raptured. However, please ensure you are on the Ark of Christ first! That is the most important action you can take as part of your preparedness plan!
